A friend registered today and gets this message: Your account has been activated but you are currently in the moderation queue to be added to the forum.

How long does it take to get added? Can someone post if they are in the "moderation queue"?

Yes, a person with that status can - and should - post, it is just that a moderator has to see and manually approve the post before the public can see it.

This is how we can keep the rest of you from having to see the icky things spammers try to post!

I've suggested it on the bichon forum I am on. So far, they don't feel it is needed. But one day last week, the spammers were BUSY! So maybe that will change soon, lol.
