Austin is just BESIDE himself!! Totally comatose in front of the toasty radiator. Should I wake him up and tell him he needs to sleep IN the bed???

They're now the best of buds! Austin has his very own personal body warmer! All 19 lbs of him! The Spiker Dude!!!

Groucho has also planted himself firmly at the radiator too. Except of course while I was trying to eat breakfast, getting to my oatmeal seemed to be his top priority. I love the snow to start with, but it makes Groucho even more affectionate and snuggly than usual. What's not to love?

Views from my bedroom window. We've gotten up to 21 inches in some places. Where I live, we got maybe 18. The roads are hideous and they're telling people not to go out of they don't have to. They don't have to tell me twice!!!

Similar here, Donna -- both INSIDE and out, he he. Cats snuggld with cats, with dogs, with us.
I had to laugh, got up during the night (nature call) and EVERY window had cats sitting watching that white stuff come down! They are just SO curious!

Great minds think alike, Sandie. I got up around midnight as well and, just out of curiosity I looked. It was so peaceful and quiet as the snow fell!! I threw some peanuts out for Leo and his latest girlfriend. I hope he gets them before they make peanut butter outta them with the snow blowers.

We had a very cold night last night and I woke up with GIZ and Caramella snuggeled up to me so close that I could pet them both at the same time with the same hand!
I'd leave Austin sleeping where he is since he already has that spot warmed up... Wouldn't want him to get chilled!!

Awww, Austin is such a silly boy!! And he picked a good warming buddy too in Spike.
I am not at all jealous of all that snow. I will go visit some snow at the end of the month, but I'd rather not live in it, thanks. As beautiful as it is.........I'll pass.

Oh My! Your cats looked so comfy... all snuggly and warm...so sweet.
For you folks with lots of snow, THAT is ALOT of snow. Hope you get out before spring. Dont laugh... we had one inch Sunday & then we had freezing rain & sleet on top of it... looks & feels like glass... & it is still slick in my driveway. Today the sun is out & that will help melt. Luke cat will not go out & LilGirl goes out just long enough to use bathroom. Kay in NC Wed Jan 12

Moosmom... H'ville is toward the NC mountains (I'm in central Piedmont) and I think those folks got a lot more than me... maybe 8" or more & then ice on top I think. I do know school has been closed this week & tomorrow. High temp today was 35 & windy and the sun was out. Kay in NC, Wed Jan 12

kaycountrygal,
I have no clue as to where Hendersonville, NC is. Have never been to my brother's house. But I hear it's in a very upper, high class GATED community. And he's got money, so I'm not at all surprized.

We have just had about 8 inches of snow last night, the first bog snowfall this year at the Found Cat Hotel.
My Cats and I share an electric blanket sent to us years ago, so everyone is warm.:love:
We love that Photo of Austin and Spike with Spike keeping his Little Buddy warm:love::love:

Such stressed out kitties!! Donna, you really need to give them kitty valium or something.
I tried to call you two days ago to see if you were ready for more snow -- I know how much you love it! :D :p

Cute pictures. I'm glad that Austin & Spike have become good friends.:) I don't miss the snow either. It's been cold enough here at night without it.;)

My brother lives in Hickory and said they only got about 3", but it was ice under that since it started out as sleet. Here in central DE we only got about 3-4" too with ice underneath and we were on the southern end of the storm by the time it intensified in this area. After last years blizzards here, I'm not missing the lack of much snow, and neither are the pooches!
Only got 12 inch yesterday , wife and I stayed home. Always confuses the Crew they know our schedule. They have trouble following us around and it throws off their nap times.
