Hello Jack! I am so glad you were rescued and not slaughtered; how terrible for all the other horses who werent so lucky. You are a very handsome horse... and fortunate to have two wonderful homes (one in winter, one in spring). I liked all your photos but especially liked the one of you and your rider and a little dog running along with you. I enjoyed reading about you and it is obvious that you are cared for and loved. I hope you live many more years. Congrats on being POTD! Kay in NC

Jack, the pattern of your blaze forming a circle is most distinctive and unusual! How fortunate that you were rescued and what a treasure you are! I hope you have a wonderful POTD celebration with those that love you, handsome Jack!:)

Dear Friends,
May the Lord richly bless you for saving Jack's life. What a wonderful horse he is and I love the diamond in the middle of his blaze (actually, it's considered a "bald face" since it goes over his nose but blaze sounds better. My grandfather had a Kentucky Walker back in the 1960's with a bald face; her name was "Puddin'", a really sweet horse). I've never seen a horse with a marking like Jack's, although I'm really not around horses much. I do love them, though, and really love the picture of Jack being ridden. It's obvious he's having a good time.
Take care and may the Lord hold all of you, and Jack and the little dog with Jack, in His arms.
My love to all in Jesus,

Jack what a gorgeous fellow you are!!!

I loved seeing your wonderful pictures. It looks like you and your guardian are having lots of fun galloping across the prairie!!! :) I am so thrilled that you were saved and spend part of your time in Kansas. I live in Kansas too. Who knows, our paths might cross some day. Your family is sure blessed to have you and you too for having them. A win win situation if I ever heard of one.

Congratulations, sweetie, on being our special Pet of the Day!!! :D

Jack, my heart just soared today after reading your story. How you ended up in that feed lot is frightening. But thank God, you were singled out and saved.

I wish you many years of running with the wind in your mane and a happy rider on your back.

Hi handsome Jack! Happy Pet of the Day to you!:) What a beautiful boy you are, Jack! Your blaze is amazing...I don't think I've ever met a horse with such a unique mark of distinction!

Thank goodness for your human, your guardian angel, who saved you from the most unspeakable, horific of fates! It breaks my heart, sickens me, to think of all of the other beautiful, sweet and loving horses who were not, are not, so lucky.:( Your human has been truly blessed for her act of kindness, for a human couldn't wish for a more loving best friend and devoted companion than you, Jack! And if I read correctly, you have not just one but two loving guardians! How special is that!:)

I hope you're enjoying a very special day of celebration, reveling in your well earned "top pet" honors, and being spoiled to pieces...you sure do deserve it, Jack! And here's to many, many, many more wonderful, peaceful years with your loving families! Lots of love and a big hug to you, beautiful Jack!:love::love: Thanks for the BIG smiles!!!
