Posting in the doghouse b/c this is a "pity" post.

Today, Pet Talk buried "Phred".
Today, my friend Kevin was buried in Georgia. He had a heart attack on Christmas day.
Today, my friend Debbie was buried in Illinois. She had an aneurysm on Christmas day.

Friday, a high school friend, Renee, will be buried in Texas. We grew up together and went through junior high and high school together. Another high school friend, Keith, murdered her. They had been a couple for awhile... I can't believe it ended this way.

I just have to say that this has been the most tragic ending for any year I can remember.

Be kind to each other. You never know when the other person, or you, will be gone. Don't let the last words you speak be ones of anger. Let them be words of kindness.

I can sympathize with you.

The week Phred died we had 5 other people we know who also died that week. Of those six three were family members who died in one car accident:(

I'm so sorry for your losses. I hope the new year brings better times for you.

Scooter's Mom,

I'm so sorry for your losses. Losing a friend around the holidays can be more devastating because of the reminder every year. I lost my grandfather to a house fire a week before Christmas in 1973. The holiday has never been the same.

Count on the wonderful memories you've made. That will make you stronger.

Like Mary said, have Faythe. Don't get me wrong, the hurt is beyond anything anyone can experience. As time goes by, it numbs. But it never really goes away.

(((((HUGS))))) and :love::love:
