One of my cats is peeing on my bed, what can I do to discourage this ???

We'd need more info than that. Is this new behavior? How old is the cat? How many cats do you have? How many litterboxes? Has anything changed recently in the household? Male or female, is he or she payed or neutered?

All girls..Yes my brother moved a litter box in his room and then out of the room, there is no box in my room, YET they use the bed to do this..Yes Neutered

Well first you should have him checked out by your vet to make sure that he doesn't have a UTI or anything else medically wrong with him. Sometimes simple changes can cause a cat to pee in weird places such as changing the location of the litterbox. Star was used to the litter box being in a particular corner and we rearranged the room but she continued to go in that corner regardless, then she got used to going outside so she become potty trained to going outside. Sometimes stress, like the holidays too. Like the previous poster said, I'd call the vet to rule out a UTI too.

the only timme My Found Cats ever made a mess was when they were very ill or Tubster Panther had to get used to going to a box.
I would put that box back and see if that helps.:):):)

Definitely a vet visit is in order. Unfortunately, inappropriate urination is one of the ways our furkids tell us that something is wrong. After illness is either ruled out or attended to, then follow the advice on the link that krazyaboutkatz posted. And definitely use Urine Gone (my cleaner of choice) or another enzyme cleaner to get rid of the urine odor on your mattress or it'll happen again and quickly, too. Good luck. I know how frustrating this can be.

Is there anything one can get to put on the bed so this does not happen? I have 3 cats ONE of them is doing this., I cant find out which one ...I cant wash every day....A very hard problem ..to isolate.

You can try covering the bed with a plastic sheet ... it's be uncomfortable for kitties ....

You could also try putting a plastic shower curtain or liner on the bed too. Good luck.:)
