Eighteen punds, eh? I guess you can throw your weight around at your house then. My Lamoni is that heavy and he is a monster cat. He sometimes sits in a chair with his back legs sticking out and his front legs hanging down. When he does that we call him "Jabba the Cat".

The original black cat with two siblings who are black too, I must tell you I have a soft spot for black dogs and cats, as my beloved Schnauzer, Daisy is black. I would dearly love to see you at my door and I would give you all the candy corn you could eat. lol

Cole I wish I wasd in your neighborhood I would love to see you run to the door to get treats. My cats are mostly scared of the variuos trick n treaters , except the Late Misters Fluffy and Scrappy , and Joseph. Actually I keep most of the clowder hidden as I dont want it to get out how many cats I have. I am buried under deadline, with no time nor energy to post, but I can not let a Halloween black cat go by without expressing my admiration. The original black cat who lived with me, whose loss I continue to mourn, was born on Halloween night, straight to my open hands, ten years ago tomorrow.

How I miss him! A better friend no man ever had.

Once, I employed Little Guy (the original black cat) in a scheme to frighten trick or treators. It didn't work. Instead of terror, they felt charmed, and wanted me to drop him into their open bags.

So, Cole, don't try to frighten any trick or treators. I don't think you can do it. May you grace your household for many Halloweens to come.

PS: I might add that the fact that at this very moment, the black cat of the present time lies curled up but feet away from me, sleeping in his box in the office we share, is of no small comfort. Yet, the fact that if I had not lost the original black cat, then the black cat of the present time, this wonderful friend of mine, would have all but certainly been put down at the pound, is a conumdrum that I continually wrestle with, for he lives only because my original great friend does not.

Cole, you are one handsome cat. When I read that you and your siblings are all black cats, I wondered how on earth do your humans tell you apart??!! Then, when I looked at all your pictures again, you really are three unique individuals. Plus the fact that you are three times bigger than little Jade!
