Hello Jenni, I found your story sad, sweet, and beautiful. When I saw the photo of you in bed with a lady (probably your original owner), I got tears in my eyes; both looked so sweet. I am so glad you are able to visit her and other patients as I'm sure you bring joy into their lives. As for your new family, what a good deed you are doing--giving love and a home to Jenni and taking her to the nursing home. It must be a good feeling for the original owner to know that Jenni has a good home. Thanks for sharing with us. Congrats on being DOTD! Kay in NC

Hi beautiful Jenni! Happy Dog of the Day to you, sweetheart! I too was moved to tears, bittersweet and happy tears, after reading your very touching story! I'm so sorry that your former mommy was no longer able to care for you; how difficult it must have been for her to say goodbye, but happily it was not goodbye forever! I know she must have been much comforted, knowing you would be in the loving care of such a wonderful family! And oh, to think that you're able to visit her at the nursing home, as well as so many other of the residents in need of your healing love, is simply the best!:love: We can't thank your family enough for sharing you!:) That smile on the face of the lovely lady I'm assuming is your co-mom, brings tears to my eyes!
