Hello Jewel! What a pretty girl you are! I am sorry you lost your mother but it is obvious that your human has taken great care of you and loves you. I have three goats and they are fun. Thanks for sharing Jewel with us. I hope you have many years together. Congrats on being POTD! Kay in NC

Hi there Jewel and Joann! Happy Pet of the Day to you both!
What a gem of a girl you are, inside and out, dear, darling Jewel!:) I've never had the pleasure of meeting a La Mancha goat before; what a beautiful breed!
I'm so very sorry to hear of the tragic passing of your beloved goat mommy, India.:( How heartbroken you and your human mommy must have been at her passing, but blessedlyyou had one another to turn to for comfort, and as your mommy says, her legacy of love, her gentle spirit lives on through you Jewel, her beautiful baby! You not only inherited your mommy India's outer beauty, but her sweet and loving personality as well, bringing endless smiles and joy to your mommy Joann's life!:)
It was a great pleasure meeting you today Jewel, having the honor of paying tribute to not only you, but to your goat mommy India, and mommy Joann as well!:) Enjoy your well deserved, extra special Sunday honors, sweetheart, and every moment of your happy, love filled life! Hugs and kisses to you darling Jewel!!!:love::love:

Hello, Joann. Thank you so much for sharing Jewel with us. I have always liked goats as well as my family, especially my daughter. A missionary friend just got back from Uganda and had several goat photos, all of them quite photogenic. I believe they're primarily used for breeding to make a flock and for milk and cheese.
Jewel is aptly named. I'm glad you were able to keep Jewel after the unfortunate and heart-breaking loss of her mommy. She's a pretty goat and, yes, our Creator chose to give them a sort of "silly" look but that was His choice and it was a good one. :)
I pray He blesses you for your love of His creation and the care you give to your beloved pets. May you and they have a long, happy, healthy life together.
Take care.
My love to all in Jesus, my Savior,
