Black and Tan Coonhound

I'm thinking of getting a dog when I move into my place sometime soon. I am interested in the Black and Tan Coonhound, but I want to get some ideas on what they are like before I actually get one. Are they easily trained? What are their housing requirements? Are they good with other animals?

I don't have one......but somebody at my work has one. She's really cute. I'm not sure how old she is...but she looks older...so that may be a part of it...but she's a very calm/docile dog. She knows a lot of tricks, and seems to like some other dogs, but she didn't like mine, lol. Of course, I'm sure every dog is different.
