First let me say I am currently a mormon. Have been since I was 3yrs old. I have been having some serious doubts about my religion of late and a friend directed me to this movie. Talk about an eye opener. I honestly think this is something that americans need to see, any mormon gay person should defiantely see and any member of the LDS church should see.

"A scorching indictment of the Mormon Church's historic involvement in the promotion & passage of California's Proposition 8 and the Mormon religion's secretive, decades-long campaign against LGBT human rights."

Just to give a little back ground it is how the mormon church used their money and influence to force the proposition through so that Gays could not legally be married. Mormons only make up 2 percent of the population of California but they paid for 71% of the funding for the whole campaingn. I thought religions were not allowed to have an influence in politics because of the seperation of church and state?
It also tells about how Utah has the highest rate of gay suicide out of all the States and also how the church treats people who are gay or are suspect of being gay. Warning: some of the video is violent where they show security cameras on BYU university where a gay couple is assualted.

I think any religon regardless of whom they are if they promote hate, if they say you can and cannot live your life a certain way is a cult.
Who has the right to say that gay people are right or wrong NO ONE!!!
Who has the right to tell you not to use birth control. NO ONE!!
Who has the right to tell you not to get a divorce or to live with someone before marriage. NO ONE!!!
All of these are legel in this country and if you let a any religion control your life to that extent that is YOUR PROBLEM.
Educate yourself, read the facts, and for God's sake stop putting your values on others we don't buy into that BS.
