I take her Tuesday morning (Nov 16th) (early between 7 a.m and 8 a.m.)to the shelter. The van leaves by 8:00 a.m. to Cincinnati Ohio the clinic does the spaying that day. She spends the night and comes back to shelter where I can pick her up between noon and 4 p.m.
There is a wonderful program for cats and dogs to get spay or neutered. Her spay will cost $45.00 (includes exam and pain meds).
They do this program with our shelter twice a month. It is open to the public no requirements for income. Wonderful program. This is where she is going http://www.ucancincinnati.org/
I will be a nervous wreck but I can call them (been told they call us) to find out how she is doing etc.

I'm sure that everything will go well. It's great that you have this program available to you. I'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers and I hope she'll make a speedy recovery.

All food been taken up. Hopefully the fur posse wont be to upset with me that there isn't food out over night.
Van leaves promptly at 8 am for Cincinnati so I will have her at shelter by 7:30 a.m. She comes back Wednesday morning.
Please say prayer for her that all goes well with her spay. :)

Tell Abby to be a good girl, and not bite the vet, and everything will be okay. Give her a little extra love tonight and it'll carry her through until she arrives home Wednesday!

Boy 2 am! the fur posses told me a few words about no food being left out LOL
They will be happy when I return home and can put their food back out.

The director of clinic happened to be one today driving the transport van.
He told me they do the surgeries early afternoon and I can call them after 3:30 p.m. and find out how Abby did today. :)
It was an emotional drop off !

Oh the effects of the sedation will have worn off by the time you pick her up and get her home! Glad to hear she is doing well.
* Unless she is like my RB Vita, who always spent 3 full days sleeping after any anesthesia. By that time, Vita was practically healed from whatever, and woke up ready to run.
