Well...
I am not that much of a horse person... I am, but my parents arn't. See, we got her from someone we know, and things just didn't work out. The guy that we know loves that horse as much as he loves his own kid, and so do I. My parents didn't want her, because she was causing so much trouble. She would brake her wire fence, then be in the yard, refused to go back into her stall, plus broke our wooden fence in half! The guy would have gladly took her, but I got to make the decision. well I bet you know what decision I made.

I really miss her, but my parents say that I did the right thing... What do you think?

Maybe I'm dense, but I do not know what decision you made. Why would you not have allowed her to go to someone who really loved her?

I think I know what you decided to do. Why would you do that? I would have glady given her to the guy. Specially since he loves horse much as you. I'm not judging you in anyway. I'm sorry if this sounds mean but I would have never had put a horse to sleep cause it broke down the fence.

Or because you didn't want the guy to have the horse?? When my husband and I decided we had to sell my horse Babe back in the spring. I knew I had to find the right person to buy her no matter how long it took. Babe was sold to a good camp place for 4-H kids. Again I'm not trying to be mean in anyway.

You put her to sleep?!?!?! Ok, I don't know if what I'm thinking is true, but this is what comes to my mind. If it is true, then   !!!!!! How could you do such a thing? Sorry if I'm thinking wrong. Please explain some more. We are very lost.

SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!
I need to learn how to just spit it out!
  I feel so stupid! Of course I gave her to the guy! I would never put her to sleep if there was something better for her.

Update...

I have got an update... She is doing great! She really needed to be with other horses, and now she is! I am happy for her even though I miss her... She even gets to meet her mom! I think horses are smart enough to remember their parents.

I sure am glad I got that straightened out! That was a mess with everyone thinking that I put her to sleep!

I'm glad things worked out for her. She needed to be with other horses and I'm sure she's much happier. All you can do is be happy for her and know that she's where she wants to be.

Whew!!! I was assuming the worst, but waiting for you to clear it up. Your previous message sure did imply that you did not give her to the guy that wanted her.

Glad you got us straightened out, and that she is doing so well. :)

Thanks for clearing this up. Very wise choice. The horse is where she should be, in a loving home with horses to run with. Wonderful for you to see that! Good for you (and better for the horse)!

I SAW HARLEY ON THE 26TH!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHO WANTS TO HEAR AN UPDATE????

I got there, and the guy had Harley on a lead rope. Inside the pasture, there was a black horse. I don't know if he/she is a male or a female. They were friends though. I could tell.
I walked up and I greeted Harley. We talked for a little bit, and then we took her into a stall. As we were bringing her in Harley and her friend neighed back and forth.
I gave her some treats, that I had brought to her, and she loved them!!! I pet her and made a big fuss over her, and checked her hooves and her legs to see how good she really was doing. She looked great, and I could tell that she felt great. I could tell that the guy really loved her. He kept telling us about how good of a body she has, and how he was going to breed her... While we were bringing her in she was exited to see her friend again. I led her in, and unclipped the lead rope, and her and her friend, side by side, trotted into the darkness in the pasture.

I haven't told you the best part!!! I can see Harley whenever I want!!! When she has here baby, I am going to ask if I can be there, and we might get to keep her foal, when we are ready... we will be ready.

Thanks again guys! :D
