Though I can't remember which of the Members here is from Houston TX, but I'm sure I saw at least one.
Anyhow, I've checked out one of the Dog Parks...
Officer Lucy Dog Park, just east of the intersection of Baldwin on Edith.
That's just north and east of the Beachnut/Newcastle intersection.
Looked VERY nice, water avail, bags for Poop on hand, mowed nicely, large !
BUT, TOO many openings beneath the Fencing and Gates !!!
This was in the area designated for Small Dogs (<20 lbs). There are two separate enclosures.
I just couldn't let my Yorkies loose in there, they are SO wonderlustful,
and would be out of there in a heartbeat.
I wrote an EMail to the contact person via their Website at...
http://www.houstondogpark.org/contact.htm
But, it looked like this was some private Organization, not City owned/controlled !
I thought Parks like that, were City Property, am I wrong about that ?
Have a good Day ! :)

EDIT:
HA, I just re-read this Post, maybe I should have said "Doggie Poop Bags were available" !
