http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidi1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidi2.jpgI like to introduce our new puppy Heidi,8 weeks old tomorrow.I found an ad on Kijiji,talked to the breeder,they live in the same town were we took Fritz to get groomed,only the man was there she was out,Mom phoned them last night,we went over to see the puppies and the parents,they had 4 puppies there ,one was sold Saturday, had 3 adult dogs,the parents and an other one ,which had only one eye.Heidi took to Mom and me ,layed down on our laps and she cuddled in Mom's coat,her parents really liked really liked me,kissed me all over my face,She has had a sleep in a bed we had for Fritz,she has dreamed and heard her snoring,had some water and food,has gone outside to do her business,she and her siblings have been paper trained,tried have her do it that way,she layed down on the job,so tonight before we come down here , had her out and she went on the patio and I praised her.She has been down her checking things out,she has smelled where Fritz has been,has been under the coffee table laying down,now laying down in front of the bed.She was born on August 16 ,which was the date Elvis died on in 1977 and also the date mom's Mother was born in 1892.They have bred other dogs including Miniature Poodles and Shih Tzus, will quit after this ,too much work,the parents are purebreds and they are their house pets.Have enough food for a couple of days,has to go to the vet in a month.Had just been playing with a Rope toy,she took it to the bed and she is resting,head hanging out.

Hello sweet baby girl! You are so cuuuute! I'd like to hold and pet you. It's been two years since my LilGirl was a puppy. Time goes so quickly and then they grow up. It's fun to look back at all the pictures of "puppy time". My LilGirl was pretty much newspaper trained when I got her so I didnt have to deal with many "mistakes" and now she uses newspaper and also goes outside. I enjoyed all the photos; she really is a darling little puppy. Thanks for sharing. Kay in NC 10:14pm

I love the pictures of her under the bed. She is sweet little angel. Life with her has to be so much fun. I'm so glad you and Mom have her, Barry. She must be healing your hearts all the time. Fritzie would be so happy she is in the house and you both are recovering.:)

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiflip3.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiflip4.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidihangy.jpgHeidi last night next to me under the end table flipped,this morning by her bed flipped over and this afternoon in her bed,head hanging out.I get up this morning and get the paper,she hears ,me,starts crying,get her and put her out then bring her in,she cuddled with Mom while I got my cereal.She then has her play with me,nips my toes,plays with her toys,loves the Monkey,plays with it like Fritz did on her back,also plays with it in the bed.I went out and did leaves and pull plants,she slept in the living room,Mom had to go out ,she left her like that,I came in and she heard me,looked like she had just got up,took her out twice,once she came in and peed in my bedroom,another time for mom she was outside,Mom had tried to get her to go poopy,didn't then brought her in and did it in my bedroom,she will get better at going out,twice tonight,she went to the gate and asked to go out,was a false alarm.Mom had her out this morning ,put her in the gazebo,Heidi climbed out over the side and out .Tonight,she had a run down here,had a snoozed under the coffee table,now beside me snoozing.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidichair1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidichair2.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidichair3.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidichair4.jpgHeidi snoozing in the chair last night,Mom put there and she stayed and slept.Heidi had her usual play with me before i had cereal,while I do that,she bites at my foot,have to put my feet up.After playing,she has a nap.She had company again today Taffy,she seems afraid of Taffy,goes to to her and wags her tail then whines and backs off,sometimes barks at her.Turns out,Marlene's problem is a hernia that popped due to a blockage,not sure when the are fixing it,she was to have two others fixed November 9th.Larry has torn ligaments in his shoulder,will need a operation,it will be 4 months recovering from that.Heidi ate two good meals,she asked Mom upstairs this morning to go out,she whined at the sliding door to the kitchen and went out,has done it down here tonight also.Last night,she bunted the snow man with her nose,it fell down and she run.Taffy was down here on the couch,Heidi under the coffee table,she yipped at Taffy.While I was out doing leaves,Heidi was missing me,she was looking at my chair whining according to mom.She had to take her 2nd deworming pill,got it into her.Cool today,rained overnight,in the low 40's this morning,there was snow North of Toronto in Barrie,Ontario,not here just yet,hope it is awhile coming.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidilook5.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiresty2.jpgHeidi last night looking out from under the coffee table,Taffy on the couch and this afternoon snoozing on the floor in front of me.The ladies at Mom's hairdressers were wanting to see Heidi so we took her there,she liked it and they thought she was adorable.On the way home,we stopped at the church,Mom had to pay for tickets for the beef dinner at church,while Mom wet in,Heidi was sick on my lap,had a towel there,she had a bit too much excitement and as we arrived home,she did the same thing.Afterwards,she was fine ,she was playing like normal.Heidi had a good tie with Taffy today,outside was chasing her around the gazebo,she managed to kiss Taffy.Down here tonight,she was barking at Taffy while Taffy was on the couch,she wanted to get up there with her.Marlene has her operation tomorrow,hope everything goes well,she has had enough surgeries to last a lifetime.

What a pretty sweet little girl you have! I dont know if this will be helpful to you but I'll post it. When I got my puppy LilGirl two years ago, I put her in a cage at night & she cried alllll night & I felt terrible. No, she did not poop in cage. She's always been good about going out when I take her plus she was mostly trained when I got her.

Anyway the second night when I put her in cage she cried & cried & I let her out & she came to my bedroom where I was... found some of my dirty clothes on the floor next to my bed & she made her bed there. She was so sweet. I then took her little round bed from the cage and put it on top of my dirty clothes & she was satisfied... and she has been sleeping in that spot ever since (not on the same clothes though LOL). She was just so lonely but being near me, even on the floor, was ok with her.

Heidi really is a cute little dog & I enjoy looking at your photos.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidibone1.jpgHeidi this afternoon playing with her bone toy.No mess in her bed for a 4th straight night.She had a little play after coming in this morning,went down the hall a couple times to see if Mom was up.To start with,Mom cuddles her,doesn't like it sometimes and has to put Heidi down,she starts biting at mom's feet have to get one of the stuffies for her to play with.Mom had to watch her this morning,I had Marlene's leaves to do,14 bags,took a little over 5 hours to do hers is done for the year,Mom had gift shop at quarter to 1 so put Heidi in her cage at 12:30,I got home around 2:15,did our lawn,5 bags was finished around 3:30 and then went in and put Heidi out,she had a 3 hour sleep,didn't have a snooze this morning.She had her supper we had Hot Beef Sandwiches,she follows us and looks at me,then starts biting my feet,have slippers on.Mom has gone to a church meting,she is down here with me,has had a hour sleep and been out twice,has been biting at my feet again,right now,wandering around.She is now playing with the monkey stuffy,had been biting my pant leg.

I can tell she's getting bigger. I have to say, she is one of the most precious little doggies I have ever seen. Fritz was so adorable too. Heidi is a little doll baby. What a wonderful time it is in Bowmanville every day!!:D

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiunder5.jpgHeidi snoozing under the stereo last night,seems to be her favorite spot to rest just like Fritz would under the little couch.I heard Heidi at 10 after 4 this morning,didn't get up this time ,she soon quieted down.I woke up around 20 to 6 and she was crying again,I had to put Blue boxes and garbage out,then took he out,head breakfast and went out again and back in and had a play with her toys and me,was biting again,m when Mom got up,put Tabasco sauce on my arms and socks,that did it,she licked it and didn't like and ran around.I cleaned up our leaves,that is is done, pulled the tree down on the north side of the driveway,it was leaning bad and was rotten in places.We had someone clean the eavestrough.Heidi didn't like him on the roof,is timid at some noise.She was up in the chair with,as looking out the window from there and kissed me too.Heidi has had a couple of snoozes,we went to the cemetery to put a wreath by Dad's stone,it was a mild and sunny day to to do it in.On the weekend,tried walking Heidi around on a leash and collar,the collar doesn't fit .was sliding around,guess she isn't big enough for that yet,still have to take her out for some rides to get her used to it so so she won't be car sick.had a little accident up in the living room earlier,likes to go our and play with leaves and forgets what she is supposed to be doing.

Heidi now snoozing,mom gone to pick up a few groceries,cold here today,32,wind makes it feel colder,rain this afternoon.Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends,don't eat too much Turkey.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidilazy1.jpgHeidi last night having a snooze by Mom's chair.She had another blitz around the rec room last night,had some food and water then had a snooze,gets yup when we are ready to go up,take out then to bed.This morning,had to our garbage and blue boxes out first then put Heidi out then in for breakfast and out again,she found her way to mom's bedroom a couple of times.Mom then got up,she greeted Mom,sat with mom as I ate cereal,then to me after a play with toys,looks out the window from the chair then kisses me.I brought her down here for a few minutes then we went and took cards for Jason's two kids to his business.She is down here right now snoozing after a play,been biting carpet again,will really have to watch her,I get it from her before she swallows it,don't want that.She was biting at Mom last night,tried to distract her with toys ,didn't work,eventually stopped.

Getting a little snow tonight into tomorrow morning between 1 to 2 inches.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heiditoys2.jpgHeidi in her bed with her toys Wednesday afternoon,I think she was grooming herself.Heidi can go up the stairs great,it is getting down them is the challenge,can come down the last 4 steps but is afraid of starting at the top.Today when going out,she went down the one step to go out the door so that is great.Last night had plays with her toys and had a blitz around the rec room.Heidi got to biting at Mom's feet so that meant a timeout in her cage.She had a snack of her food and sausage treats,then more water,just had that treat now and more water.This morning,went right out then in,wasn't out long ,it was 5 degrees this morning.After breakfast,she was in the chair with me looking out then giving me big kisses,then I was down here on the phone,trying to win money,radio station has people cal and if you are the 25th caller,you can open a vault and win money,maybe up to $500,000,they do this 5 times a day Monday to Friday,no luck yet.After this morning,came up and she got up in the chair and kiss me.We went with Marlene to the shopping center,she had nails done,I bought a book with he gift card an Illustrated History of the NHL.She played and napped down here before went and after then Mom and I went to Swiss Chalet,used a gift card for that.Heidi makes no noise going to her cage.She is having a blitz right now,has stopped to play with a squeaky.Once thought she needed out,she smelled her food can on the bar ,so put it upstairs.

She likes to wander around out on the patio,her face in the snow,may not do what she went out to do but has fun anyway.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidisnoozy6.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/nightnight3.jpgHeidi snoozing Friday afternoon by the chair,had already had her supper,had ours later which was Chicken Nuggets,she stayed down her and snoozed ,around noon yesterday in her bed,she went there on her own didn't stay there long,wandered around the laundry room.Later on was in there was standing behind the open door of her cage,she didn't realize that she could walk around it and out,I had to close the cage in order for her to come out of the laundry room.Last night,got put in her cage for a timeout,was biting at Mom again,Mom is going to get Sour Apple spray and see if that works,she doesn't really bother me.She had a bit of food and a sausage treat,was eating too much of it,she is kind of heavy,just under 11 pounds.She may be going to the groomer on Wednesday,depends on weather,supposed to be snow from sometime Tuesday into Wednesday so will see what goes with that,getting an inch tonight from around 5 until midnight.Larry and Marlene are going to help Shannon at her new place,she moves in there next Friday,Taffy is being dropped off here.Temperature here this morning was -4 degrees,right now around +5.Heidi came down in her bed with me carrying her,has had a play down here and is snoozing right now.

It sure is cold there!! Brrrrrrrrr........ Heidi is so cute with that big ole fly swatter. Such a sweetheart!! I know she's a joy to the family, Barry. Fritzie is very happy to see all of you so happy.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidisnoozy7.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidicage1.jpgHeidi last night snoozing behind the chair and a little after noon hour in her cage when we got back from church.She had a big run around the rec room,had a little snack of food,some Sausage treats and water.She had a big run outside in the snow last night,did a couple of dashes around the gazebo.She went to the cage at bed time,stood behind the open door of the cage,had to steer her into the bed.This morning ,I was up at 5 this morning to do snow,it was -4 outside,I had shoveled 3 inches the night before and an inch or so this morning,also did my Uncle's last night and this morning,stomach isn't quite right.I never heard a sound of Heidi when went out and came in,even when I got her out of bed.She gave me big kisses after breakfast,she had a timeout last night and not long ago,Mom got Bitter Apple spray,not really working they said mom can bring it back and get her money back.She spent time down here with me before getting ready go to church,I carried her down in the bed,she played and napped,went to her cage before we left,no trouble.She had her supper before ours which was Roast Beef.She brought up fluid today,not sure if it had something to do with biting carpet.She is now snoozing behind me.She goes to the groomed on Wednesday at 10,hair not so bad around the eyes,long everywhere else,will see how the colors of the spots will be once she is groomed.

Supposed to be some lake effect snow this morning,nothing as of yet, about an inch to an inch sand a half overnight into Tuesday,warming up to 32 tomorrow.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidisnoozy8.jpgHeidi snoozing under the stereo last night.What a time with her last night,was biting at Mom ,something fierce,was in her bed twice for a timeout,the spray isn't working neither is Tabasco Sauce,doesn't really bite me.She had a bit more supper,I try not to give her too much,don't want her overweight but she was hungry,she had a bit more last night ,water and Sausage treats.She finally settled down and snoozed at Mom's feet.We had to steer her into the cage last night,doesn't say anything.She heard me up at 20 to 6,I did the patio before I had cereal then finished that and did my Uncle's just did the neighbor's across the street,hadn't been done in a week or so and he can't get his snow blower started.Heidi has been down here snoozing and playing, at my feet right now.Not much snow this time,about an inch and a half,18 degrees right now,lot better than -4 yesterday.

Got Heidi up around 6:30,was out then in and breakfast then in to see if mom was up.She was with Mom as I ate cereal,after this,she was with me in the chair kissing,does the same thing every morning.She was with me down here this morning,had a play and a nap before getting her ready to go the groomers.What a time that was,it started with Mom couldn't find her wallet,she had took it out of her purse at the gift shop on Monday to use her debit card to buy a scarf and didn't put it back,She was allover the house looking and then she tried getting the truck started,the steering wheel locked so had to call Marlene and I went with her with Heidi to the groomers.While we were gone.Mom got a call form the gift shop,wallet was found and when we got back,the van had moved,mom had asked someone about it,she jiggled the steering wheel and key at the same time and it worked. Heidi saw Marlene and wagged her tail and whined, on the way there wasn't car sick.I took her in,she wagged her tail at a Poodle layed down and was sniffing at the little White Poodle and was greeting the groomer's assistant with tail wags and trying to kiss her.Not a dull moment here!

Never a dull moment is right, Barry!! Such a cute little girl to keep you busy. I see you're still biting baby girl but that is normal for a little puppy dog isn't it, sweetie? One day, all the biting will be over, we hope. Be a good little girl!!:)

The last car I had was constantly keeping me from being able to unlock the steering wheel. I should have taken it in but I never did. I also kept messing with it until it unlocked. It was so annoying, especially when it was so hot outside. :(
