http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiplayin2.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiplayin3.jpgHeidi playing with her monkey this morning.Heidi was pretty good last night,she barked when the door bell rang the first time,then somehow she got though an opening in the gate and went up to greet everyone.Most of the time down here,she snoozed,did have a blitz later on.She did see two of the ladies before they left,she smelled around the living room where they had been,she went to bed around 11:30.She was up at quarter to seven this morning, went out then in to eat,then she went to Mom's room to get her up,she hadn't been out a second time yet so got her out.She stays with Mom as I eat cereal then gets up with me in the chair and kisses me.After all,I carry her down in the bed.She has had a play with toys,been out again,now snoozing again.

Is it possible that she's getting cuter? From a little pup growing into a little toddler, she is just precious!!! I love her coloring. The groomer did a great job on her!!!:D

So you like to run in the snow! Go, Miss Heidi! When spring gets here you will be able to bop around outside without having to get a dry-off afterward :)

Miss Heidi, I'm puzzled that you still have times when you are biting at mom. I hope that is something you'll grow out of. Sounds like Barry is your best pal, though! :D

We're supposed to have temps well above freezing next week too. I wonder if we'll be in for lots of mud when all that snow starts to melt. I've got a beat-up old pair of boots I can wear if t hat does happen. Sure is cold out tonight, though.

Happy Birthday to Marlene. I hit the big 6-0 this year. I just can't believe I'm almost 60 years old. I feel like I'm 100 some days physically but still young at heart.

http://www.bluemelon.com/photo/22642/1142986.jpg http://www.bluemelon.com/photo/22642/1142990.jpg http://www.bluemelon.com/photo/22642/1142989.jpg http://www.bluemelon.com/photo/22642/1142988.jpgHeidi in the sunshine down here February 3rd.The dinner was good last night,we all had steak except for Mom who had Salmon,I had Apple Crumble and Cinnamon Ice Cream for desert while Mom had Creme Brulee,Larry had Chocolate Mousse.Heidi had her snack when we got back,she had some plays and a run around the rec room,also had 1 timeout.She greeted Mom this morning before going out a second time.Heidi cuddled with Mom as I had cereal.She played a bit and got up in the chair and kissed me,then carried her down in the bed where she played and napped down here.I put her in the cage,we went to Wal Mart.We had Ham Sandwiches for lunch,Heidi doesn't get any,a couple of hours later had her own we then had ours which was Rice and Chicken Pieces.She had her snack tonight,had some snoozes,had a blitz,jumps right over the bed,bites and licks Mom's pants,Mom can't stand her pants licked.She now in front of Mom's chair.My Uncle had a bleeding Ulcer,had a scope put down his throat,is back home,has a Colonoscopy on Monday.Larry's sister's Granddaugther died of Cancer today,she was only 15,will be a funeral most likely Monday,Marlene and Larry are going to Nassau Bahamas next Thursday so will have Taffy here for the week.Another cold one today,I took some snow off around the gutters of the house with a snow rake,some is still froze.Milder by the weekend a bit of snow Friday and maybe some on Saturday,not a great deal.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwaitin1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidistandin1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidirestin9.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidilookin1.jpg Heidi last night at 20 after 8 sitting inside the gate waiting for Taffy to come down,Larry had just brought her,on her tip toes listening to Larry and Mom talking,under the stereo resting and staring at Taffy and barking at her on the couch this morning .Taffy is really having a difficult time climbing up stairs,back end keeps giving out,have to be there to help,the sane with getting up on the couch,she gets halfway and is stuck,Larry said if it got real bad,to call his Brother-In Law Don.Last night,she stayed up in the living room,today has been down here.Heidi has a great time trying to get Taffy to play,has tried kissing her and has done it tonight.Heidi has had one timeout tonight,biting at Mom,both had snacks of food,Taffy had some of Heidi's food,Larry left Taffy's food in the truck.Taffy has just been out,she is upstairs right now,Heidi too,she is inside the gate having a rest,bed time is at 10.Their plane took off at 4 minutes after 6 this morning,was 17 minutes later getting there,so was around 9:30 this morning when they landed,high in Nassau today was 77.They had to wait until afternoon for their rooms to be clean before they could go in.Marlene is going to call her sometime on Sunday,probably in the evening.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heiditaff1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heiditaff2.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heiditired4.jpgHeidi and Taffy out on the back patio Tuesday morning and a few minutes later Heidi snoozing in the sunshine by the fireplace.While I went for a bath last night,Taffy gets down off the couch and starts to wander which gets Heidi going,both had a snack.Both had a snack later on,Heidi tries to get at Taffy's food and water.Taffy is awful at wandering around for no reason,try to tell her to lay down,can't get through to her,she is almost deaf,sometimes I think she just ignores you.She does the same outside wanders around,I ask her to come in once just walked off the step and and onto the patio,had to go out and get her to come in.Once tried to get her on the couch,she growled at me.Taffy has an awful habit of rubbing her face on anything,furniture or carpet,she sheds an awful lot,hair is all over the blankets she has been on sand the carpet upstairs,blankets will be washed and carpet vacuumed.If if it wasn't for me,I don't how we could have both dogs here,it is a handful with Taffy,don't know how my sister does,I lose my patience with Taffy,Mom appreciates my help with the two of them.She is going to go out and play cards tonight so I have to look after the two of them.,Right now,they are both quiet,Heidi in front of the gate and Taffy on the couch,nice day her,Sunny and around 30-32.The plane lands in Toronto around 1:30 so may be here by 4-4:30.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwakey1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiwakey2.jpgHeidi waking up this morning.On Thursday night,Heidi looked out towards the bar room and barked,there was nothing there and on one at the back door,unless she can see things we can't,have no idea what it was she heard or saw.Yesterday,I did all the vacuuming and had finished upstairs,I came down after I was done and Mom said Heidi had been running around,possibly because of hearing the noise of the vacuum upstairs,she looked scared and was walking away from me,she did sit down and let me rub her tummy,she was looking funny at me.I know when I have vacuumed before upstairs,I come down when mom isn't here and she is by the chair so don't what was wrong this time.This morning,she went right out,come in and ate and out again.She went and greeted Mom when she got up,had a play with toys,was with e in the chair licking my face after breakfast which was Bacon,Eggs and Toast.We went out go for the paper,she stayed down here under the stereo snoozing was behind the gate after we got back.She had a blitz down here this morning,has been out a couple of times,is now snoozing under the chair,having Chinese food for supper.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heiditired8.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiplayin19.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidiprowl1.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/6/1/1133242/heidilookin3.jpgHeidi snoozing down here last night,playing with the Monkey down here this morning,can't see it,prowling around ,looking for something to get into and staring at me.It has been a long day for me,I was up at quarter after 4 doing snow,we were to get an inch of snow,well it turned out the forecasters were wrong,instead got 4 inches,I did ours and 3 others,too about 3 hours,I was too tired for church so stayed home with Heidi.After Heidi got up,mom said she came down here looking for me,I usually get her up,she was happy to see me.I had breakfast after getting washed,she played a bit then was with me in the chair.She came down with me,I carried her in bed,she played and napped.Shannon brought Brandyn and Samantha to Larry and Marlene's had breakfast,somehow Buster got loose and ended up in the middle of a busy street,got him back safely.Marlene took Samantha to church,she went to Sunday school really enjoyed it,Brandyn stayed with Larry,they did snow shoveling,Shannon was with them someone had to watch Buster.The Junior Choir sang and Samantha was right into ,tapping her feet,the Sunday School went out to do something,she went right along no problem.Larry drove by the church,Brandyn in the passenger big as life.Heidi spent some time with Mom in her lap upstairs, was quiet with no biting,we had the rest of the Chinese foo for super,she was good while we ate,had hers before ours.After supper we came down,she got a time out for biting,is now having a snooze behind,snoring away,we are getting rain tonight and tomorrow,cooling off tomorrow night at 19 degrees.

I then brought her down in the bed,she played and napped,went out a few times,would bark the odd time,has great hearing,can hear things out side form down ere and this morning was looking towards the front door when she was upstairs and barking,did it outside too.heidi had hers upper around quarter after 1,we had our s closer to three,we had Hot pork sandwiches.She is now down behind me napping,Mom has had a cold the last wee or so and has been coughing,she thinks she pinched a nerve in her side,doesn't want Heidi beside her.Marlene will now have her hernia surgery on March 22nd,so Taffy will be here for a few days,I am not looking forward to having her here again,gets everything she lays on hair all over it and I think she is getting senile,hard to get through to her.

Heidi had a little More food after I ate.She has been down her snoozing or playing with toys,had a blitz then snoozed ,is wandering around my chair at the moment .There is a rainfall warning here,for over an inch to up to 2 tonight and all day tomorrow,cooling off Sunday and a little snow.

Wow!! Is it possible that she gets more and more pretty every time I see pictures of her? She is such a little doll baby. I just can't stop saying that. I wish we could have a tiny little bit of snow :) It's absolutely gorgeous here but I love the cold weather. I already miss it. I won't complain. We are very lucky. Prayers going out to Mom and Marlene. My goodness, seems like there's somebody sick all the time doesn't it?
