I just wanted to write to Zeus owner and let them know that the runts are the best..and I will always pick them! As far as not living long..it depends on the breed! My dog (baby girl :) ) Shina is 16.5 years old, was also the runt and is a pit/lab mix. I have had her since I was 15 and Im about to turn 32 *gulp* Somedays are better than others for her, but she is still awesome...so dont despair! You have many many more years with your precious one :D Trying to attach a pic below of Shina standing in a heart that was mowed in to the grass in our backyard by my Boyfiriend... (aint he sweet)
