Squints what a gorgeous tabby you are!? Those big green eyes (despite all your eye problems) are absolutely adorable!! It is good to hear that despite some health problems, you are a happy, handsome alarm clock for your humans! Happy cat of the day

Squints, the fact that you're a little cross-eyed just adds to your charm. Everyone knows how special orangies are. I'm so sorry that you had to go through that surgery and especially b/c you had to wear that collar. One of my kitties had to wear one for a while, too, and she became so depressed but happy as can be when it was removed. I'm sure that you'll have lots of happy times w/your humans and that in the grand scheme of things, that was just a bump in the road. Enjoy your day as COTD, cutie pie.

Squints, You are certainly a handsome boy. It doesnt matter one bit that you are slightly cross-eyed; I think you have lovely eyes. I am so glad you were adopted and now have a wonderful home and caring people. I am sorry to hear about your health problem and do hope that it doesnt happen again. No doubt you are loved and I'm sure you return their love. I hope you have a great day and that all of you have many years together. Congrats on being COTD! Kay in NC

Ahhh, dear Squints, I loved reading your story! I can see how your Mom picked you out of a million sweet kitty faces...she could see how special you are. I love your little orangie face and your big, beautiful eyes. I'm so sorry you had a bad problem with the urinary blockage, but you were a very brave fellow, and even though you missed your family, you went through it all to get better and go home again. Harley must be a nice kitty to show you around and teach you what to do. It's great when kitties have kitty friends :D As long as you have a safe haven under the covers when there is lightning, you should have no more fears. Here's to many more years of eating, napping, and playtime!
 Happy Cat of the Day, Squints! You are beautiful just the way you are!

Hi there Squints! A very happy, heartfelt Cat of the Day to you, precious boy!:) Oh, what a precious, fabulous feline you are, sweetheart! And I agree with Medusa, your "crossed eyes" only adds to your irresistible charms!!!:) I'm sorry to hear of your eye issues, but there's no doubt it hasn't kept you from living and loving life to its fullest! What a brave boy you were Squint, dealing with your urinary blockage with such courage (though having "been there," no doubt your hospitalization was just as hard on your Mommy and Daddy)! our indomitable spirit (well, you ARE a feline, hehe) is truly an inspiration to us all, Squints!!! Your Mommy knew you were the one for her in record time, the moment she laid eyes on you, and the rest as they say, is history!:D Not only is your Mommy, your humans, so blessed to have a furkid and best bud in you, but Harley too...what an awesome mentor and best buddy to her you are! You're the BEST! Congratulations and bunches of cuddles and kisses and love to you, sweet Squints! I hope you and Harley are both enjoying a very happy, fun and love filled day!!! Here's to many, many more wonderful years with your awesome family!:love::love:

Hi there - Bless you for picking Squints and for giving him the care who needed when he wasn't well this year. My cat Shadow had that problem also and I have to admit I had to do a lot of research on my own to figure out how to avoid this problem and found out it was all about food and litter. Once I had put Shadow on a good canned food (very little dry from now on) and I never use clumping litter with sodium bentonite (I hadn't anyway) - he has not had this problem for 4 years now. I went through two vets and I have to say that I was happy for their assistance but when it comes to food and litter they really don't seem to have our pets best interests at heart - at least not in Canada where I live. The food they sell have horrible ingredients (by-products mostly - meaning the stuff that should be in the garbage because it's not safe for humans to eat - well to me then I wouldn't feed it to my beloved kitties either!). I hope your Squints never has to face this problem (or you) again.
