Hi everyone. :D
Just thought I'd show you what Peanut's been up to lately.
First of all, she got a new house - Peanut's Palace.
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid36/p97d91a502d0cf17081af4442376a7505/fd1fd665.jpg
She loves this box, and it even has a little window on the side for her to look out of. The window was considered a handle when the palace was in it's previous life as a box. ;) I even put a little note on the top so the cleaning lady wouldn't throw it out. Peanut's Palace now resides in our dining room. :D
Then she makes a little nest in Terry's tie closet/linen closet - Peanut's Perch.
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid36/p646933549650186fa31907b0e3a90b04/fd1fd668.jpg
She loves this spot so much that she can hear the door open where ever she is, and she will come running into the bedroom and immediately jump up on her little perch. I once put something else on the bottom shelf, only to be rebuked by Terry because how dare I put anything on Peanut's Perch?!! ;) :D Of course the offending items were immediately removed so she could jump right up. The only thing is the door to the bedroom is right, sort of behind, this door, so I've already accidentally closed her in because we can't open the bedroom door all the way with her Perch door open.

Aww she's so cute!! I tried making a cardboard palace for my cats but unfortunately they enjoying eating the box more than sleeping in it. :p

Peanuts house looks great!
Look at Tatty and Max's double apartments!

Trevor wanted to share "his" box with Peanut. :) Two weeks ago this box came with a chair inside and this is Trev giving it the "once over." Eventually he lost interest as it is very hard to hide in such a large box even for a big guy like him. He usually prefers to pour himself into something way too small for his body.

1st: If you hung pictures in Peanut's Palace, would it then be the Peanut Gallery??
2nd: WOAH! Trevor's box is big enough for my entire gang and then some!!!
3rd: Great pictures, all of them.

Heather,
I thought the double story apartment was adorable earlier, but now Imagastation is sending an error message: does anyone know if it's temporarily down or have they stopped supporting off-site viewing too?
Peanut and Trevor are both precious, too! So cute! They are all good, but Peanut's perch especially appeals to me.

Great pics everyone. :) My cats love to sleep in cardboard boxes. They also prefer boxes that are too small for them. :) Here's an older picture of all 3 of them in their boxes. I'm sorry that the quality isn't very good but this was taken before I had a digital camera. http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid20/p403eccd7441e7ff6b8aebc6283b869b4/fdbed615.jpg

Oh, now I see the double apartment...how cute. Aren't cats funny? Big expensive toys- nope. Cardboard boxes and newspaper- yep..Why don't I like the inexpensive things? :D

You know, I ask myself that all the time. It would make life simplier, wouldn't it?
On the other had, finding a cardboard box big enough to sit in would add a lot of complications to my life. It's a vicious circle! ;) :D

Love the pictures. Now my cats are jealous. They love boxes but have never had a big one like that.
If I put two boxes on top of each other like Heather did, the cat in the top box would soon be taking a whack at the one in the bottom box. The wouldn't be fighting, just playing. It's more fun to share, ya know?:D

Oh those pictures of the kitties in palaces are sooo cute!! last summer when we were having a yardsale, Marigold went and climbed in an empty box to take a nap and escape from the sun. She was so cute I just had to take her picture...

Great pics everyone! And Amberlee, don't worry about not finding a box big enough, somehow I don't think we'd be as happy as cats are to be in boxes. If that's all it took to make us happy was one big box, boy, wouldn't life be grand - and the cardboard makers would be millionaires! ;)
Here's a picture I got of Peanut this weekend, looking out the window of her palace.
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid37/p99c17887353d67d515bcd0831765a9d2/fd1c4cc2.jpg
This box must be the perfect size because she really likes it. She really doesn't lay in it though, just runs into it, looks out the window, then paws at the edge of the cardboard like it's a scratching post or something. I'm thinking about putting a little blanket or towel in it, though, to see if she'll hang out there. Maybe if I put it in front of the heat register - then it would be real nice and cozy.
And who mentioned expensive toys? I don't bother anymore because I know they enjoy these "cheap" toys so much better. :)

Peanut is just adorable!
So are all the others - Trevor, Marigold, Tinky and Jupiter, Ivy and Dominique, and all three cats of KAK.
I just love Marigold's paws! What can be better that big soft paws kneading or touching you? :D
Great pictures everyone! I just love cats in boxes and also in paper bags. When I come in from the grocery store I usually throw the bags on the floor before folding them up. In no time I have a couple of bagsful of kitties! :) I'd love to see more pictures of cats in boxes and bags. They are just too cute!

ahhhhhhhhh!! Way TOO cute! What fun pictures!! It's so cute how they just love their boxes...however big or small.
Peanut, you look great in your box...what a cutie gazing out your window! :)
Hey, sasvermont....I noticed they are laying in an "ALL CLAD" box...which one did you get? We are slowly collecting them. :)
Here are a few of our little furries playing with boxes and bags and in their favorite spots...

Well, Peanut got a bonus at work (she works for her daddy, you know, and even though she's been punching in late these days, he gave her a bonus instead of docking her pay  ) and she asked me to got to Petco and get some furniture for her Palace.
Here is what she requested.
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid38/p1b51f6afe6605571bbde7153084b92d2/fd13eae0.jpg
She is looking out her window as she sits on her new, soft, cuddly pad. :)
I'm always so hesitant to buy things like this because T & P are notorius for ignoring toys and things that I buy for them. But it seems she will actually use this one. Tubby wasn't thrilled with it, and is much too big for it. :D
Oh, and you'll notice the beginning of her "address" on her Palace. I have to make the tags with the actual address on it yet, but at least the mailman will know that this is her Palace, and he should deliver all her fan mail here. ;) :D

This is so much fun, seeing all the cats in boxes. I had a box from a grill (large) and taped up the top flaps so it peaked like a roof, then cut out 2 doors and some windows. Then I got contact paper and covered it up. That was hard because I had to cut out all the door and window openings. Abby loved it, but then she decided to sleep on the roof - and she collapsed it! She had the Cat House for a few years, and then lost interest. The contact paper started peeling, so I finally tossed it. Maybe I should make a new one - if I can find another big box.

That's so funny, because I was thinking about decorating the Peanut's Palace too! The only thing is I'm not too much of an artist, but I was thinking about drawing some flowers around the bottom - like a little flower garden around her house - and some other little goofy things like that. I haven't yet because first of all I haven't found the time, second of all, I didn't want Terry to think I had totally lost it. ;) :p But now that I know someone else did it first, it doesn't sound so goofy to me. I'll be sure and post pictures if I ever get around to it. Oh, I just had a great idea while I was writing this. I could find pictures on the internet (like clip art), print them out, then just past them on the box. That would be so much easier than drawing it all. Oh boy, can't wait to get home and get started on it. :D
Isn't it cute how all our cats fall in love with every carton-box they see ?? Sydney loved to play in boxes , and the smaller they were , the better ...
