Fall has crept up on me and I am looking forward to football and cooler weather.

Dang, I could not believe the temperatures I saw posted for some areas here and around the world!

Summer isn't ready to let go just yet. It has actually been cool enough to turn the a.c. off the past couple of days, but today back up in the 80's, and then a stretch of 90's starting tomorrow. A couple of years ago, it was the end of Oct before the a.c. got turned off for the season. Hope it isn't so this year. I'm sick of HOT!!! :mad:

Ummm - it's not fall here yet. This has probably been the hottest summer I've experienced in FL. Humid, thick, heavy days that were stifling. It's been raining for about 5 days so far (which is almost better than the heat, but my yard is a frightening tropical jungle!)

No beer in this heat. I'll have an iced tea and tuna melt please. And a day of 75 degree, dry weather!!

Noooooooo! Not fall yet! Although the Bears play their third pre-season game this Saturday night, kids have returned to school, and it has been a little cooler all week, perhaps a hint of what's to come. I'm not ready for fall yet. May I have iced tea, please?

Weird (wired? wirred) timing with the BLT. It's now 1:15 here in MD and I'm in the middle of a BLT I brought for lunch :D As for last weeks Thrusday... I must have had alot more time on my hands and better access to a computer then (the original "how to boil an egg" thread) I also had quite a strange sense of humor eh what? Hi guys :love:

I had this morning off for my regular treatment, brought a HUGE apple and a yogurt to eat when I got here, and the apple (that looked so good on the outside) was all brown on the inside. Were you at the Maryland State Fair? That's the only place I know that serves deep fried _________ (fill in the blank, twinkies are an option, as well as Oreos, Snickers,etc...).

Barkeep, just had a lovely girls night out - dinner, drinks and a movie (Eat, Pray, Love, of course). Could I just get a night cap of red wine and a bite of chocolate? :)
