Well, since I hadn't heard from HUA about contacting Bill O'Reilly for spreading the word on puppy mills, I took it upon myself to write to him and ask that he give some exposure to the problem. When I contacted HUA, they didn't seem to hip on the idea because they said that O'Reilly is too conservative. To which I respond, yes he is on SOME issues, but on others he's pretty liberal...he always seems to listen to both sides (although he sure doesn't agree with some). Oh well, I thought I'd share my latest "project."

Way to go, Molly! My policy exactly: Doesn't hurt to contact them.

Best of luck to you on this project!

Great idea! I think that O'Reilly might be good on that issue. Anything the rest of us can do to help with this project?

Good luck! Wouldn't it be great to get better exposure on this issue?

I guess the best way is to just launch a letter writing campaign. If you want to email Mr. O'Reilly just go to www.foxnews.com and his email address is there and let him know how you feel on the subject. You might want to listen to him on the Radio Factor on Westwood One on Talk Radio (if they have it in your area) or watch the O'Reilly Factor on Fox News to get an idea of his personality and what would be the best way for you to broach the subject for maximum results. I have not yet heard from him, so my thinking is that one letter isn't going to have the desired effect. Let me know if anyone writes to him and gets a response.

O.K. Mugsy, I'm with you on this and I wrote a e.mail to O'Reilly this morning, and I will let you know if I hear anything.
