Monica, You are a very lucky and pretty girl!! To the owner, that was so good of you to take her in, get her spayed, and patiently help her adjust to your home. There's no telling where she would be without you, probably still wandering around looking for scraps of food and having kittens. She really is a beautiful cat and I am so glad you are together. Although I am not Jewish, I have a heart for the Jewish people and it's with delight that I read Monica's story today. I appreciate the heart you have toward God's creations. He gave us that compassion to be used for both humans and animals. Monica is very much blessed to have you as her caretaker. By looking in her eyes one can see she is very comfortable in your home. Thank you for giving her a second chance at life, my friend.
Monica, I wish you many happy, warm, sunshiny days in which to run, play, hunt or to simply lie around and be a kittykins. May you always have plenty of food and water, along with loads of love from your caretaker on this earth. And may your caretaker be blessed all the days of their life, with good health, lots of love from others and a mind that we are here to serve others and not ourselves, of which this caretaker already knows.

Monica is such a pretty girl. I am so glad you took her in so many years ago. Calicos, as you well know, are VERY devoted and basically a one person cat. They would be happy if they were the only cat in the house. My little girl Calico, Sasha, is exactly like that. She was cat of the day on April 18, 2010. And by the way, the President of the United States, Barack Obama, has a daughter named Sasha. Monica is such a beautiful girl. I hope you have many, many years together ! I would not trade my Sasha for anything !!
