A few video's for you Boo and Giz

[Laura's Babies]

This is a nightly ritual at night here. I have told you about it before, how they conspire to get their treats.... working together. Amy, Samantha, and Giz quietly go to the kitchen and take their places in there. Boo's job is to alert me that they want their treats and this is what she does... EVERY night!

I have told you how much Giz loves to be brushed but you have to see it to understand how she gets.. I can't pick up a brush that she don't come running and does this..

I would love to get video of her letting me file her claws but it takes 2 hands to do it and there isn't anyone here to do the video for me. She is such a "girly girl" that she looooves primping and grooming of anykind!

That is so cute! Both of them. Have you ever tried one of those post things that are a brush for the cat to rub against? I wonder if Giz would like that, or if she just likes the attention from you. :)

How sweet you are, Boo , and you're doing it all right! :love: Loved that video! Giz definately likes to be brushed as much as Fister. I use a rubber brush. We have our brushing session every morning. :)

Yes Taz_Zoee, she has one of those that she loads up with fur when I am at work but she would rather me brush her when I am at home. I love brushing them because it is one on one time for each as they get brushed. I talk to them and kiss on them the whole time I am brushing.

Marie said she finds that brusher thing laying on the floor now and then where Giz has brushed herself so hard on it that she knocks the brush part off of the base. It is SO full of her fur when I come home, we could make kitten britches enough for 3 or 4 kittens out of the fur I get off of that thing when I come home.

I dont recall seeing Boo in a video before, shes a stunning Oragette!!
And she certainly has calmed down since her early days and is quite a cuddle bug now;););)

Cute videos, both of them. I wish my Fur Posse liked to be brushed. I just bought the Clipnosis so I'm going to see how successful I am w/them and for claw clipping, too.

Medusa- Giz loves grooming of any kind. I can clip her nails now without a fight and she will even let me FILE them!! I tried just for the heck of it the other day to do them all at one time and she sat there and let me file ALL 10 of her front ones.. haven't attempted the back ones though.

You just catch them when they are begging for attention. I started out just rubbing their paws to get them use to me touching them, heck, Amy will spread her toes wide open if I rub her paws. Boo lets me cut hers too now. It takes time but they get use to you messing with them, then you aim for one or two nails at a time not to overdo or alarm them. Work your way up from there. Samantha is the only one that objects and that is because her first Mom cut them all the way up to her foot!
