AmberLee's Cats Livvy and Cassy

Hi everyone. I was at AmberLee's house on Sunday afternoon and I finally got to meet her two cats Livvy and Cassy. They are very beautiful and also very friendly. Cassy's personality reminds me of my Sunny's. I was able to take quite a few pictures and I thought that I'd share 24 of them with you. I was also trying to take some Christmas pictures for AmberLee so Cassy is wearing many hats in some of the pics. Here we go.

those pics are wonderful, so cute! Cassy reminds me alot of Emma, her coat pattern and color, and in one of the pics, the look in her eyes. not exactly, but alot alike!

Thank you so much for those lovely photos of my fur-babies. I'm just loving how well they turned out. You do have a great touch for animal photography. I think you could make a profession of it.

Both kids very much enjoyed their visit with Aunt KrazyAboutKatz!

Re. the 'choking Cassy' shots: I had a professional photo shoot at PetSmart a couple years ago with Cassy and Sassy meeting "Santa Paws". I was horrified at the time to notice 'Santa Paws' looking very grim and apparently throttling both my kittens. :eek: :rolleyes: Now I know why he was clutching them so tightly. Cassy is a bit of an eel, especially if there is a costume around!

Those are great pictures, I love the one of Cassy eating the hat and Cassy with the reindeer antlers. Livvy looks great in her hat too.

Awwwww they are sooooooooooooooooo cute! I don't think I've seen Amberlee's cats before. For some reason, I thought you were a young girl Amberlee......like 18 or 19, something like that! :rolleyes: Well from the picture you look more like an adult woman to me! I may be wrong, you are hiding behind the cats! Great kitties you have there! I love their colors! They are precious!

Great pictures although Cassy doesn't look too happy with the headgear on! They did turn out well, Aunty KAK is a dab hand with her Canon :)

WOW! What great pictures. I noticed Cassy's halo was a little crooked before it was removed completely. Got to be a little nawtee, and not 100% angel, ya know?

Livvy looks a lot like my Leonardo. He thinks she is stunning in her hat. He has a thing about the girls who wear hats. I don't know why. He would try to eat it like Cassy.

Not only are the pictures very cute, but the sayings are a riot! Esp...about watching the hands, and when he is looking at you and then eating the hat!

Uh, how does that saying go? "Young at heart, slightly older other places" or the like. You may have been confused because my sister is much younger than I am, perhaps. And I think that I've retained a bit more joi d'vivre than is standard for a middle-aged woman, but I have indeed attained that status willy-nilly. :eek: :rolleyes:

Thank you, I do think the fur-kids are adorable. I thought I'd posted rather a lot of photos of them, but it could just be that by the time I finish a roll of film, get it processed and posted it seems like more than it actually is. I'm still working on the roll where Livvy is playing with my birthday balloon. Really wish I'd thought to take some photos when KAK was, too, but usually had at least one hand on a cat during the photo shoot! Perhaps I'll get some photos at the cat show in early November.

I think so, too! So glad to see we agree. Is Neko rather mischievious in disposition, too? Cassy 'tolerated' the hats -- except for the one he tried to eat -- rather than enjoyed them... :rolleyes:

KAK brought the reindeer hat and Santa hat with her. I think she said she found them either at Walmarts or PetSmart... Sorry, it didn't register. I bought the angel costumes via the Dr. Foster and Johnson catalog. It was the set for small dogs and cats... It really helped to have an extra set of hands to get Cassy dressed in them: he wasn't exactly eager. Livvy's sunbonnet came from Michael's Craftstore: the teddy bear collection. I added feathers to make it more intriguing for her -- she likes feathers.

I got the Santa hat and reindeer antlers at Premium Pet a couple of years ago. Now they are out of business and have become Petco instead. You can probably get something similar at any pet store.
I'm so glad that everyone liked the pictures. :) I really enjoy taking pictures of people's pets or just animals in general. :)

D'you know I saw that self same hat in Michaels Craftstore - while I was over in Chicago (whisper it quietly - Diane and I spent a very happy three hours in there!!!) and I wondered about catty hats.
Hmph!! Wish I'd got one now - or maybe not looking at Bagel and weighing up the claws - definately not!!!!
