I so enjoyed reading your proud person's lovely, beautifully written tribute to her wonderful companion and riding partner, her best friend! I was especially touched by these words...
He has taught me many things, and is still teaching me more to this day, and taking care of me, just as I do to him.
That's what friendship is all about, isn't it Salish? Caring for each other, being there for each other, unconditionally! How lucky you are to have each other to lean on, to love on, to learn from!:cool: And to think how you are to attuned to her needs; that you can sense her moods, when she's feeling down or ill, is so special. She's blessed to have you in her life, and I hope you and she know many, many, many more wonderful years together, in the ring and out of the ring!
