Need I repeat?
I was out in california where I hear they have it all
They got riots, fires, mud slides
They've got sushi in the mall
Water bars, brontasaurs, chinese modern lust
Shake and bake life with the quake
The secrets in the crust
:p

If it's a nasty quake you might not have to skip breakfast......
It might skip over you!

Funny you posted that, Gini.
There was a quake in Canada near the NY border last week. We're about 200 miles south of the border, and about 400 miles from the epicenter of the quake.
Shortly after the news story went up on the local newspaper's website, there were initial comment of "There was an earthquake?".
After people had been TOLD there was an earthquake, however, all sorts of people reported feeling the ground move.

Richard,
How are Edster and your "little frens" coping? Have they all gone into hiding?

I read online yesterday that in New Madrid, Missouri that they are constantly having tremors. It said flad poles you see are constantly shaking/vibrating, bridges are being closed because they are weakened, buildings are cracking and you can feel the earth vibrate under your feet all the time. In Momence Illinoise, buildings are sinking..
OK, and they are talking about nuking that oil well in the gulf? Add that all together and that scares the bee gees out of me!

They don't care. Ed was asleep by the TV, he didn't flinch.
Of course, I do play the stereo loud sometimes???
Laura,
I sit on the floor most of the day and I can tell you that I feel the smallest tremors. These EQ are really bizarre.
You stop what you are doing and start to look at things that are hanging in the house....
IT's a really strange feeling.
You should not worry about the world ending anytime soon. That dang Lady's Human scared everyone with that End of the World thread.
If the world had ended?
You couldn't get a cup of Mc Donald's coffee anymore.:confused:;)

Was reading about EQs and the like last night in Bill Bryson's book A Short History of Nearly Everything. Fascinating but scarey at the same time

At least you know your proper place in the order of things, Richard.
Maybe we can get you another chair so you won't have to displace the edster.
