I am glad to report that Lake Edward will open this year, with a substantially shorter shoreline.
After years of fighting against shorelines that spilled over onto the tile floors?
I finally figured out how to keep Ed from moving the waterdish/pan all over the floor.
I changed his waterbowl from plasitc pet job to an old sauce pan that I was going to toss out.
That didn't help.
About a month ago I found an old frying pan and placed the saucepan inside!!!
The floor has stayed dry since!
Ed still can move the saucepan back and forth-he loves to lick the water off of the sides-and it spills into the frying pan.
It's one more thing to do, but it sure beats having to friggin' mop all the time!
Surf's Up, Dudes!:D
