One of our family cats whom I grew up with has passed today. Converse developed pnuemonia and despite the vet's best efforts, he was slipping away and my parents made the choice to let him go. :(

He was 15 and lived a good life. Converse was the only one that liked the dogs.

He will be missed.. :( :love:

I'm so sorry for your family's loss. Converse had a happy, long life, and I'm sure knows that. Peace.

RIP, Converse, play well at the Bridge.

I'm so sorry to read of the passing of your childhood buddy and your parents' friend Converse. Sounds like he had a full and busy life in his 15 years!

Rest in peace, beloved Converse. Watch over your family from the Bridge. They miss you and grieve for you.

What a sweet pic! It's difficult to lose a buddy let alone a childhood buddy. RIP, Converse and peace to your humans. :love:

Catty1, I think he was named after Converse tennis shoes because if I remember correctly he also had a brother named Reebok.;)

I am so sorry to hear this. Converse had a long- but never long enough- life. I hope the memories of the years together will bring comfort in time.

How a truly wonderful photo of Converse touching paws with his Dear Big Canine Companion.
That says so much to refudiate the lie that Cats and Dogs are natural enemies.
Converse was such a great Cat , and Tonight at Breakfast In America in Paris there will be a special dinner in Converse's honor held by Our Awesome Angels Comapnions Army.
And Converse will start his search for a place where His Canine Companion and Family can all be together once more in love:love:
