Max, Jax, Rory, and Lulu
I don't know how Max can sleep with his but hanging out the hammy. The shot with Rory and Jax is their new sleep spot. I put boxes in the fert room for them to play with and they all curled up behind it. It was so cute. A big pile of ferts asleep...but of course by the time I grabbed the camera, they almost all left to see what I was doing. And finally Max and Lulu(my petstore biter) All the ferts love Lulu. She's their baby sister and cool playtoy. They all take turns looking after her and sleeping with her.

More great photos Chinadoll. What color is Max? I thought he was albino but his eyes aren't pink and his tail has some color too. Lulu has such a cute baby face, I'm glad the other ferrets like having a new baby sister. So has she stopped biting now that you adopted her?

Hi Vermont Cat...
Max is a silver. Albinos are white with pink eyes. DEWs are dark-eyed whites (like an albino but with black eyes) and a silver is an all white ferret with a little black sprinkling their guard hairs...basically a salt and pepper look. Max's tail is a yellow color due to a bad shed. Ferrets with white coats get tinged yellow when their coats overproduce oil. I've had him for about 3 months and now that he's finally on a better diet I think his coat is starting to catch up some, but not completely. That's ok...I love him...yellow coat and all.

Chaos is just the opposite of max, his head is hanging out of the hammy while sleeping. You would think that w/ all the blood rushing to his head he would get light headed or sick or something but 90% of the time that is how he sleeps.

LOL...if you look in that same pic with Max's but hanging out on the far left that was cut off is Jax. Jax just doesn't hang his head out the hammy...he hangs half his body out. I know what you mean about the blood rushing to the head. I hurt just looking at some of the positions the sleep in!

*grins* I can never get over how cute ferrets are! Since they're illegal where I live I can never get my fill of those cute faces!
