At the last Expo I spoke at non-stop from about 9am to 4pm was not only hard on my voice, but killer on my hands. The turtles I was working with were thrashers & were hacking up my hands & arms from thrashing about.
I was at the Rescue the other day & was playing with Tubby the Florida Red Belly Cooter. She doesn't thrash about at all & is totally mellow. She has quite the personality & just loves attention.
I asked to have her as the Educational Turtle I handle all Day as shes so mellow. I was granted it today after he thought about it. I got to give her a nicer name as shes no longer considered "Available for Adoption", & is now my new Educational Turtle WOOHOO!!
I'll try to get a picture or a video of her doing her Superman pose while being held. Its so cute & unique!

She's 2yrs old, 9 inch long shell, & 4lbs 8.2oz :love:
EDIT: She doesn't live with me. She stays at the Rescue with her friends. I don't have the room to house her as Axle takes up a LOT of room.
