This is Bogey. He's a Sphynx mix that is up for adoption. Of course I called. Had a nice chat with the lady. She said they don't normally adopt out of state. However, because I had a Sphynx and know all about the breed, they may make an acception.
He's 3 months old and I'm in love. He has a fine coat of down which makes him a mix, not a purebred.
I'll let you know how I make out.

Oh, I could call and vouch for you, which one? Remember, we're just next to Boston!

Karen,
I appreciate it!! But I have to wait till I get the online application. Once I do, I'll send you a message and ask for your phone number. They are checking EVERY reference. I spoke with this lady Irene and she said she's confident they may make an acception considering I've already had a Sphynx and know how high maintenance they are.
We'll see.

I completed the app around 5 a.m. (do I sound anxious??) and emailed it. I've got outstanding references and this lil guy will have a wonderful, loving home. He can even wear RB MooShoo's sweater!!! And, if the RBMN approves, we can go for walks in the park like with MW.
It's a waiting game.
Donna just let me know if I can help, remember I have friends just south of Boston.

I'm in Newton, and could help of course, but if you come up this way, we should meet!

They may want to meet me. Afterall, you can never be too careful. I asked them what the adoption fee was and she wasn't sure. $150-$200.
If you go on petfinder.com and type in the zip 06108 and he'll pop up. Maybe we can get a transport going. I'll pay for gas.
I'll let you know when I hear from them.

Okay, he's in Stoneham, it looks like, a few towns north of us. Do let us know!

I would make sure not to tell them you are re-homing another cat right now! That could send them a not so great message. Let's hope a 3 month old fits in to your house better than Mini did.

Johanna,
I get the undertone of your advice. I've decided I'm at my limit. Once Mini goes to Susie's, I'm done. I'm sure Bogey will find a wonderful home.
