How precious are you, little one!:love: I'm not sure we've ever had a chippy as our Pet of the Day!:cool: I can only imagine how special it is for your mom to have you trust her so, coming up for a cuddle, and a bit to eat...from her hand!:eek: You really have the best of both worlds, Elvira; a fun life out in the wild, scampering all about, collecting nuts!:D AND, a caring human to share some love and food with! She lives in a hole in the ground all year around. We are always happy to see her when she comes up after her winter's nap, and greets us with the cheery chattering

What an interesting experience to befriend a chipmunk and I'd love to have a trusting relationship with the 'munks that inhabit my yard, but they all scurry from people.
