Sheena is showing weird symptoms for a little while and I am shaking my head as to what it could be. She is shaking her head often and her ears are slightly red and irritated but no mites or such. She is scratching a lot and wanting to be scratched a lot but no fleas, or rash or any such thing. She is chewing on her paws and has some irritation between there but no rash or sign of anything and no loss of fur any where.
No change in diet or enviroment. No added stresses to her emotionally. If I can't find a way to get it cleared up soon I am taking her to the vet. But I thought I would try and see if any one here has any clues or advice that I could try.

Ear infection and seasonal allergies are likely. The allergies add to congestion, which can lead to ear infections, sadly. Time to get to the vet, antibiotics and maybe antihistamines if it's allergies.

Allergies were what I was thinking too. It could be anything from pollen to food allergies. Some companies will change the formula in their foods without notice which I have seen cause some problems. Also check your food bag for anything saying 'new improved' or 'now better tasting' or something like that.
As Karen said your vet should be able to prescribe something to relieve the itching that's bothering your doggie.

This time of year seasonal - read that tree pollen - allergies kick in for nearly anyone to whom I am genetically connected, which i why that was my first thought. It's hard to avoid AIR! So we all manage as best we can, and carry extra tissues.

I would THINK allergies, but could also be ear infection. I know Remy had an ear infection and something about it made her chew her back paw raw... Vet said they were related, and as soon as the infection went away (which she stopped getting UTIs and ear infections once put on a grainfree diet) she stopped chewing on her paw.

Sounds like allergies for sure. Combined with how dry it is. The vet should be able to give her something to ease her discomfort.
