View Full Version : April Fool's Thursday #372.

LOL,
I was going to play a practical joke on everyone by proclaiming this as the Last Thursday...I was going to make it look like the bar was going to close....
But, there is a religious holy day that happens on the Thursday before Easter Suday and even I have some semblance of shame and religious fear in my soul.;)
With that?
I think some refreshing minty juleps and a nice ham dinner would be in order.
-----------
I remember an Easter where my dad and mom were in a hurry to get to the picnic we were going to. My dad was trying to hurry things along and my mom dropped the ham she had cooked just outside the front gate.
Boy, that was a day to remember!
Ham, taters, mixed veggies, warm rolls, real butter, gravy and a nice salad on the side.
DONE!

MMMM sounds yummy! My mother would always make a homemade Russian brew for Easter called Kvass - it's sort of like a sweetened beer. Seeing as this is a virtual bar and the alcohol won't harm me, I'll have a nice mug o' Kvas!

LOL, I don't remember exactly what happened afterwards. I do remember my mom saying she was not going and somehow the ham got washed off.
No, there was no side dishes on the side walk....;)

I was laughing and I didn't separate the menu from my memories!:D

I need a good slapstick joke to play on my co-workers. I think tomorrow I will call, pretend I am a new patient and confuse them with a strange name and accent.
Does anyone have any good ideas for Dr's office pranks?

I don't know any good Dr.'s office pranks but I'd like some of that ham dinner please. Maybe that will help me feel better. I caught LH's cold and I feel cruddy, but not as bad as he did when he was sick. I don't even have a puppy to keep me warm. She's in with LH. And Trillian, my cat is probably sleeping on my daughter's bed.

I work for an eye doc so even though your idea is brillant Richard it does not apply. I think I will call and disguise my voice like a little itty bitty deaf and batty ole lady and try and make a very confusing appointment. It's my day off but that won't stop me from having fun with them. :p:p

NO heading into THAT direction.
I heard a funny line similar to yours, the other day on the tube.
Someone was doing an interview and the topic went to racism.
The guest told a story of how a black man walked into a bar in the south, took a seat, and waited to give his order.
The bartender came up and told him, "I'm sorry, we do not serve black people here..."
THe guy looked at him and said, "That's O.K., I wasn't planning on ordering one!"

doctor's office prank: tell them you've ingested dihydrogen monoxide and should you call the poison control line? (dihydrogen monoxide = H2O = water)
We have a Maundy Thursday service at my church that includes foot-washing ... sorry but I didn't go get a pedicure and my feet aren't presentable, so I'm keeping my shoes and socks on for this one. I'm sure I'll need a mug or two of kvass afterward, though.
For the time being, could I please have a mimosa, in anticipation of Easter Sunday brunch?

Hold it up and proclaim, "What's wrong with me!" and have a taste.
IT's really sick potty humor, but a simple, effective gross out joke.

Right now I'm still somewhat on the weak side and also kind of sore. The best news was that they found no blockages in my arteries and so no surgery for the time being. RICHARD, I'll take a BIG coffee with Bailey's for a pick-me-up. For the next couple of days, I'll become a "recliner potato"!

F-1 qualifying is knockout qualifying.
Q-1 everyone has a shot at posting the fastest lap time they can, and it's a 20 minute session.
The slowest 7 cars are eliminated, and their spots on the grid are fixed based on teh times they posted.
Q-2 the remaining 17 cars have 15 minutes to post the fastest lap time they can.
Again, the slowest 7 cars are eliminated, and their spots on the grid are fixed based on teh times they posted. leaving 10 cars. The fastest lap times are actually posted during Q-2.
Q-3, everyone has 10 minutes to post the fastest lap times they can.
The catch? You start the race on the tires you post your fast lap with. The lap times tend to be slower in Q-3 because no one wants to race on a set of shagged out tires.
