What a sweet and cute girl you are. I really like your "lion mane". It makes you look different from all of your cage mates.
Your lucky to have a mommy that knows so much about bunnies. It comes in handy if you have a pet that you know how to take care of.;)
Happy Pet of the Day! You earned that title by being such a good pet. May your day be filled with treats, love and happiness.:D

Hi there Lucy! Happy Pet of the Day to you, sweetie pie!:) Oh! What a beautiful bunny you are, and your wee ones Puff and Lee, equally precious! What a beautiful fur family! (I'm sure your soul mate Ricky is one handsome boy, as well!) I can see that you're a wonderful mama, taking such good care of your babies!:) And speaking of mamas, isn't yours the BEST! What a caring, responsible, devoted Mom she is, and so knowledgeable! Many thanks to her for sharing her wisdom with us all. And her wise words apply to all considering animal guardianship, no matter the species or breed; do your homework regarding you pet's needs, make sure those needs match your family's ability and willingness to meet those needs, and most of all, commit to a lifetime or responsible guardianship, care and unconditional love! Well, your mom sure fits the bill! We can't thank her enough for welcoming into her home and heart, so many deserving creatures in need, sharing her wisdom regarding bunny care with the world! And thanks to you Ruth the Gardener as well, for all of her hard work and dedication to bunny rescue! Can't wait to check out her webpage!
I'm sure you're busy Lucy, getting ready for the big day next Sunday, stuffing those Easter baskets and hiding those Easter eggs!:D But make sure you and your family take some time out to celebrate your much deserved day on center stage; hope you're all being spoiled to pieces! I hope your Mom will pass along bunch of extra cuddles and kisses to you and your entire fur family, for me! Love and congratulations to you beautiful Lucy, our very special and most deserving, Sunday honoree! And an early, Happy Easter!!!:love::love: (P.S..Love your mane!:D)

Lucy you are indeed one gorgeous bunny!!!
What a treat to see you and your precious babies too today. Sure made me smile. :) I'm so happy that your human researched on the care of bunnies. When I was a girl, our dime stores (mall stores now a days) used to sell baby bunnies and chicks at easter. It always made me sad because I knew many would not be taken care of and would meet an unhappy end. :( It's great that your human reminds us of the care and love you need, specially at this time of year.
I hope you and your babies are all enjoying your special day.
Congratulations, sweetie, on being our special Pet of the Day!!! :D

Lovely Lucy is a perfect title for this thread and for YOU, sweet bunny girl! I like your beautiful coat color, your sweet ears and your striking lion head fur. The photo of you with Puff and Lee is very precious!
How wonderful that your mom knows so much about bunnies and cares about all the bunnies in her family. Please have her give you -- Puff and Lee, too -- some gentle petting for me! Happy Bunny Pet of the Day, sweet Lucy!
So wonderful to see a rescue rabbit in a good and loving homes.
But please move your bunny off the wire floor as shown in the pictures with the babies.
From the House Rabbit Society Page regarding appropriate housing:
http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/housing.html#wire
Rabbits were not designed to live on wire floors--they're hard on their feet (which have no pads on the, like cats or dogs). If you must use a cage with a wire floor, you need to provide your rabbit with a resting board or rug for her to sit on, otherwise she will spend all of her time in her litterbox.
You can find cages with slatted plastic floors, which are more comfortable, or you can use a solid floor. As long as your rabbit has a litterbox in the corner that he chooses as his bathroom, there shouldn't be much of a mess to clean up.
