Three years ago this month, we had to say our final good bye to the best little dog in the whole world.
We had our Aggie, a Jack Russell Terrier, for just over 17 years. She was the child we never had.
Her web site is here:

She loved to ride on or in any vehicle, including on the tractor or the ATV.
She loved Christmas and sat and stared at and begged for her stocking until we let her have it every year.
She loved having a birthday party on her birthday.

We sure do miss our little girl.

Here she is at 4 months:

Wanting her stocking:

An "ET" imitation:

There is a story behind this pillow. It was my FIL's. He used it to cushion his knee on road trips he and my MIL took to AZ to see their grandsons. After my FIL passed, my MIL gave us some stuff to see if we wanted to put the stuff in a yard sale....Aggie claimed this pillow...I think she recognized my FIL's smell on it. Aggie always used pillows when she slept on the furniture, and she claimed this pillow from the moment she first saw it:

Aggie never tired of fetching the tennis ball, we would wear out before she would:

Even during her last weeks she enjoyed being on the tractor with her Daddy:

Thank you.
Yes, miss her very much...even with Nellie here still and the 4 cats to keep me busy.
I feel Aggie's presence on our farm every time I take a walk...sometimes I think I hear her barking.

I know how much you miss sweet Aggie....It will be a year ago this month we lost our almost 15 year old dalmatian, Cassie....We miss her very much, too. It is the little things that remind us of our beloved RB pets. Thank goodness for the photos and the memories!

Shannon, indeed thank goodness for photos to help keep the memories strong. I actually was doing more video taping than picture taking during Aggie's first years with us. I wish I'd had digital camera the whole 17 years she was with us!

Aggie looks like a sweet little girl. What a character she was & smart too. Throwing the tennis ball reminds me of my belated Bobbi. He loved catching the tennis ball & would drop it right in my hands so I would throw it again. Now I have three dogs chasing tennis balls. LOL! I have to use a tennis racket to keep up with them.

What a sweet tribute! Aggie seems like she was a wonderful girl to have around. You were blessed to have her for 17 years! :)
