Libbey is a good friend's 9 yr old Black Lab. About a month ago she was diagnosed with Cancer and today she is having yet another tumor removed. So far her blood work looks great, but she keeps having reoccuring tumors. My friend (Sheila) has said she feels funny about asking for prayers for a dog when there are so many people in need of prayers, but I'll ask anyway :) Please keep Sheila and Libbey in your thoughts and pray that whis will be the last of poor Libbey's tumors.

Poor pupper Libbey! Yes we most certainly will keep Libbey & Shiela in our thoughts & prayers. Hopefully they can find a way to prevent the tumors from happening!

Dogs are deserving of prayers. Will pray for Libbey and Sheila.

Nothing foolish at all about asking for prayers for a pet. Will include Libbey & Sheila in my prayers.

For some reason a cookie of whatever logged my in right away as SadiesDad...but I'll go with it...got an update from Sheila today. Here is her email:

Libbey is okay....not good just okay.
Has an eight inch draining tube in the flank of her hind leg.
Two rows of probably 12 stictches across her head.

When Dannie brought her out to take her home I just looked
at Libbey and said "goodness you like you got into a fight!".

Dannie said well she is ready for halloween....goodness.
Libbey found no humor whatsoever in our comments.

Please prayer for a quick recovery!

From one Lab household to another, we wish for sweet Libbey a very speedy and complete recovery. Libbey, you're such a brave girl!! My, you have been through quite an ordeal, sweetie. But I know the best place for you right now is in the loving arms of your family. We will be keeping you and your Mommy Sheila in our prayers. Love and lots of get well hugs from Sandra, Star and Cody:)
