This cracks me up. I walked out to my dining room to find Mama sitting directly on a stack of hot pads on my dining room table.

(I dislike that her eyes are all highlighted. I don't seem to have a program to fix that.)

She's just trying to keep them "hot" for you. Such a little helper!:D

Cute picture.:) I think it's a rule or something, when given a choice,
a cat will sit on the softest spot around.:D

I was going to say the same thing katladyd said, she's just trying to keep them warm.

Pet eye is hard to fix even when you do have the proper editing program. It's different from fixing human red eye. I have the ability to fix pet eye with my Paint Shop Pro but sometimes my fixes are worse than the "alien eye" look from the flash!

Paint Shop Pro...where can I find it? I had it on my desktop computer but I do not have the disc to load it on my laptop. It is an older version but I know how to use it and wish I had it on here.

Helen,
I purchased an older version of Paint Shop Pro a few years ago...purchased it as an on-line download so I don't have the disk. Hopefully I won't lose it in any computer snafu's!

It's probably not worth trying to fix in Photoshop or any other program. Then, it rarely comes out looking right. I've read that to prevent it, the further away from the lens your flash is, the less chance there is of "red eye" (or in the case of cats with night vision, I guess it would be "green" eye). Of course, in most cameras, especially most digital cameras, that's next to impossible when capturing a good shot like that of Mama. In my opinion, the photo looks good either way, and she's cute!
