If there's not a compounding pharmacy in your area (there often isn't), see if your vet knows about this one, Wedgewood Pharmacy (http://www.wedgewoodpetrx.com/pet-and-horse-owners/dosage-forms.html). When Smudge needed yet another med, my vet suggested a transdermal formulation (one that just gets dabbed in his ears). Looking around their web site, they can also formulate some (not all) medicines into fish or chicken flavored chews, tasty liquid, or tablets smaller than a Tic-Tac. There are also low-dust granules, for people who are sick of getting half of their horse's medicine up their own nose. It's all done by mail order, and they're very prompt and helpful. If you've got an unpillable cat, this could be a big help!
