Sunny Is Gone 8-25-00--2-28-10

As most of you know my Sunny was diagnosed with cancer in early Dec. I had to make the difficult decision of saying goodbye to him.:( He had been vomiting daily, losing weight, sleeping much more than average, and he even started hiding sometimes. I have such a wonderful vet that I didn't even have to make an appointment. She had already let me know that if she was working that she'd be able to help Sunny and I when it was time. He went peacefully this morning at about 9:35am. My vet even commented that he looked like he had lost weight and that his tumor had really grown. I knew then that I had made the right decision.

He was such a wonderful cat and he brought joy and laughter to my home with his goofy personality and his silly antics. He was also the baby of the family and was my very sensitive widdle boy. He was always ready for a good play session with his siblings but as his cancer progressed he could only watch them.:( I'm going to miss him like crazy and I hope that he'll come to visit me from time to time. There will never be another cat like you Sunny and I will never ever forget you. Because of you my life has been much better. RIP sweet baby Sun.:(

Our Owesome Orange Angels Organization has gathered to take Sunny into their fold and together they will roam the World withOur Awesome Angels spreading Orangetude all over the World!!!
Sunny thnaks his Meeowmie and Vet for doing hwat had to be done and sparing him so much pain and suffering.
Sunnys with the Angels now and will return to see his Family with who he share so many years of love and happiness.
And there will be a Grand Reunion with Orange everywhere.

Times like these I wish I still lived in CA so I could just be with you. I'm so very sorry for this tremendous loss. Sunny was certainly a fun and charming kitty and he had a wonderful life with you. Thanks Staci and Gini. I feel a bit better today but yesterday was rough. During my lunch break I was eating some cheese-it's and because they're orange they reminded me of my Sunny. I ended up getting all teary eyed and almost breaking down but I told myself that I had to be strong and I didn't want to go back to work with red puffy eyes.

Aww Tracey i really feel for you, i understand completely how it is, all the little things that remind you of them, we get a roasted chicken every sunday and Ash used to crazy for it, about the only time he ever talked, i feel sad and think about him when we have it, infact did not have it for two weeks was just too hard,i am sure in time and it will take time we will both be able to smile at those little precious memories, for now they are just a harsh reminder of what we have lost.

Today has been a sad day for me because it would've been Sunny's 9th Anniversary with me. He just didn't quite make it.:( I adopted him when he was 8 months old and he gave my home so much life. He was always full of happiness and sunshine so his name Sunny really suited him so well. I'm sure that he's been having a great time playing up at the Bridge with many new friends.
