Hi Pedro,

My name is MooShoo and I live in Ecorse, Michigan with my mommy, 4 sisters and one brother. My favorite thing is to sunbathe in sunbeams all over the apartment. My mommy makes sure I have alot of kitty sacks, tents and blankets all over the house to burrow in. I love snuggling with my mommy in her bed. She's my own purrrsonal hot water bottle.

Has anyone ever told you that you have the most beautiful eyes? I bet you get alot of attention from all the girls. I used to have the most beautiful green eyes till I got a herpes virus in them because of neglect from my breeder. Although I'm only 2 1/2, I am blind in my right eye and have a little trouble seeing outta the left one. But that doesn't stop me. I can still run with the best of them. I may not be able to see the girls too well, but my nose certainly can let me know when they're around. ;)

Congratulations on making COTD! Stay warm, dude! I hear it's going to be a coooooooooooold winter!

MOOSMOM IS BACK!!! Glad all is well following your move. MooShoo was indeed one of the first "without fur" cats I'd seen...and now we're meeting Pedro. I do think electric blankets are called for here...It got down to 45 here in Texas last night and our "completely furry" kids are already acting strange - heading for high places and blankets, etc.!

Pedro, we're glad to meet you - I think for Mass, a cat coat is definitely called for! Take care of yourself and congratuations on being today's Cat of the Day!

Pedro lad (now, why am I addressing this note to you? You will never read the damn thing, will you? You couldn't care less about a word that I write, could you?) a mere photo of you has captured my heart.

My oldest daughter has asthma. Knowing that she is going to wind up with a house full of cats, anyway, I suggested to her that she make hers a Sphynx household. She rejected the notion, as she did not think she wanted to hang out with bald cats. I will forward this COTD to her, so that she can see how warm and wonderful a bald cat can be.

Of course, she lives in a little cabin in the woods outside of Fairbanks, so there could be some challenges involved with caring for a Sphynx, but the picture ought to serve as some inspiration, anyway, both for her and Slick, the one, short-haired, cat now living with her.

Pedro, you unique and sweet looking Sphynx! I thought the same thing as Miss Meow, that Massachusetts is cold for a bald baby, so it's great that you have lots of blankets and hot spots in your home by which to snuggle! Hey, Phoenix, Arizona is still very warm if you'd like to visit me! I'd love to snuggle with your soft looking coat. Plus, my husband has asthma, so we really should have kitties like you, even though we could never part with our three furry ones we currently have!
