Dear Bobby. When I saw your magnificent photo this morning, looking so handsome, so regal, SO very, very proud, I wanted to salute you!!! Then I wanted to hug you and cover you with kisses! You are every humans' dream doggie! Ok, so you leave your toys out. But all is forgiven when we see those sweet paws paddling away in the midst of a doggie dream!:) You and your humans...a match made in heaven! I am so happy that such a beautiful, loving, deserving doggie found the forever home he deserves! Bobby, it is an honor to congratulate you as we hail you our stunning Dog of the Day!! Have a wonderful day, sweet Bobby, and may you live a very long, healthy and happy life there is sunny Calif. with your proud, adoring humans! Bobby, I have known several Brittany Spaniels who belonged to friends of mine, but you are surely the most magnificent Brittany I have ever met. How very fortunate that you found your way to a home where all your wonderful qualities would be appreciated. I am so happy for you and for your humans who must be so very proud of their boy. Today is your day, Bobby, and now the whole world will know just how special a dog you are. I hope you have a new toy to celebrate this occasion. If you ever need any help in dragging out all the toys, Hannah and Tucker are very good at that.

Bobby, what a regal boy you are! I'm glad the only hunting you're required to do now is for your toys or grapes! I, for one, am glad that you didn't want to see an animal killed for the fun of it! You're precious!

Bobby is just beautiful. I have 2 English Setters who were shelter dogs, probably also failed hunters, so maybe I'm biased. I wanted to warn you about letting him eat grapes. I've been reading lately that grapes and raisins can cause kidney failure in dogs!!! Please find a way to keep Bobby out of your grapes. There is an article about grapes and raisins on the ASPCA web site for further info.

Sweet Bobby, congratulations on your special day!
I'm glad you have found yourself a great forever home, you didn't really want to hunt anyway did you;) You'd much rather be the proud pet of wonderful parents!
If you ever learn how to put your toys away, please come & teach mine, they don't know how to either!
Mine are grapestealers too! You guys shouldn't do that, it's not good for you.
Hope your day is wonderful!

What a great name for a pupper - Bobby! Thank God you couldn't hunt, because now you've got a wonderful forever home, cutie, and don't have to sleep out in the barn. Cognratulations gorgeous, for being Our Dog of the Day!:) :)
It would seem as though there are no more words left to praise you this morning Bobby. I too, was struck by your magnificent photo. But what really touched me is your rescue story. Your humans must really love you a lot to fly you to California. You leave your toys on the floor? I bet you know where each one is and what good are toys if they aren't out and ready to play?
Congratulations Bobby - you are one very special dog!

Bobby, you look so regal in that pose! You are a beautiful dog and must be really special to have been flown so far to your new home. People who think animals are only good for certain things are wrong. I am glad they gave you up because I'm sure you are thousands of times better off now. I hope you continue to enjoy life(maybe a few less grapes?) and we all are happy for you to be our DOTD!

Wow I can't believe what I'am seeing. This is to Bobby's mama and daddy. I live in Wichita Ks and work for a telephone company and about 3 years ago I received a call from a frantic woman about a dog that she just knew had been abandoned after the hunting season just like Bobby. The really unbelievable thing is from the description it sounds like my Trevor must of been in the same hunting area. He is also a Britney and I have had him about 3 years. I drove from Wichita, Ks. to Independence Mo. This woman told me about this Britney and how friendly he was and she was afraid he would be hit by a car or the shelter would pick him up. She was looking for a no kill shelter. Needless to say she found one and we gained another member to our family. I have a teenage daughter and she needed someone who would keep her busy. He's been a challenge as far as keeping him in the fence. When he sees us, nothing stops him. Several times we have came home and found him under the deck sleeping. He's such a joy. WE LOVE OUR SWEET TREVOR. The funniest thing he does is when I take him in the car. He loves rides in the car and when we pull in the driveway and I will get out and open the back door. He ignores me calling him out. He looks straight forward and leans away from me. He loves the car. Sometimes I just leave the car door open, go into the house and get something from the fridge and will sit in front of him pretending to eat in front of him on the deck. Believe me it's a hard decision for him because he love his car rides but finally he will break and comes out for a piece of what I have. He is a angel. He's very active and keeps my daughter on her toes. She has to catch him if he's up to no good. When I had him fixed. He was very sedated and so I laid down next to him on a blanket and just wanted to give him a little TLC. The funny thing is everytime I thought he had fell asleep I would try to get up to do some work and he would wake up everytime and look at me with those sweet soft eyes. I ended up saying the heck with the house he needs his mama's love. He so special to us. I just can't help but wonder what the chances are that your bobby and my Trevor and brothers. Could be?
