On 11/19/09 I wrote about one of my 17-year-old cats, C.B. and the tumor in his face. Thank you to the people who wrote and everyone who sent their good wishes. I've since taken him for radiation. At first, I wasn't so sure if it helped, but now he looks much better. For awhile, he didn't seem to be feeling well. I had him hospitalized last week for 2 nights. Now, he's on liquid Prednisone, eye drops, and an antibiotic. C.B. is back to eating normally - even the dry food - and has pretty good energy for an elderly cat. He runs around the house more than ever, and even wrestled with Koji, the Siamese yesterday.
The staff at the Vet School love him, he's so sweet. When I came to get him and held him while talking to the vet, he kept licking and rubbing on my face and neck like a puppy:love: Well, I have to go and try to give him his medications, if he doesn't read my mind too quickly and get under the bed again.
