When I was with my parents at Christmas we looked thru old photos and came across a few of our RB dogs. Sami was the first to come and go, Grizzly next and Sasha last.

The single dog on the grass is Sami. She was my first own dog. She lived to be 12. I got her when she was 8 weeks old.

The two dogs with the rope are Sami and Sasha. You all know Sasha well and you know she just left in October. Even though she weighed 20 lbs less than Sami she put up a mighty tug of war effort.

The husky/malamute with Sasha in the photo is my parents dog Grizzly. He left us a short while after Sami did. He was a big sweetie pie. He loved eye makeup and delighted in sticking his large nose right in your eye.

It was wonderful and heartbreaking to find these old photos. I wanted to share them with my family here.

of RB pups. The sadness I feel at their passing is somehow surpassed by the comfort I get remembering their faces, barks/yips and sheer joy they felt at seeing me.

The way I say that sounds silly, I hope it makes sense.

I love looking at the pictures of all my pets who are waiting at the Bridge. It's not dwelling on their deaths - but celebrating their lives.

Your pictures are a testament to the love you had for those three handsome dogs. Thank you for sharing them with us.

:) How sweet. I just love finding old pictures when you haven't looked through them in awhile. Bitter sweet. :)

I found an old photo card in my jewellery box. I had to share this picture, it brings me to tears. It's Miss Sasha and me! I miss her so much!!! It's been almost 3 months since she went to the bridge.
