A Chinchilla Rabbit!!! I've never heard of that before, but Smokey, you are beautiful!!! I love Chinchillas and to see that lovely coloring on a beautiful, GIANT rabbit is so neat!! Good Morning Smokey, if you aren't the cutest rabbit I have ever seen, I love that photo of you with those floppy ears and that cute face. It sounds like you may get into trouble occasionally going after those electric wires. boo. It also sounds like you are quite the gourmet loving raisins and bananas. Oh Smokey you are so adorable!! It seems that all that food keeps you quite content! My bunny is sitting on my lap as I speak (it was too rainy to keep him outside), and he jumped up on the desk when he saw your face! What a nice friend you make to your family! Yikes!! I've been checking the site everyday for the past month...
Today, I finally get a chance this week....and I missed my Smokey's Day!!!.
Thanks for all the nice post...
I bought smokey on the side of road during an Easter sale...he wasn't with the other "perfect" bunnies....He was in a box on the front seat of the owner's truck...dying.
I paid $20 to this @$#$%^ and brought this 1/2lbs dying bunny to the vet...after 3 months of medication and proper nutrition, he survived. Now, 5 years later,Smokey is the softest, cutest and most misbehaved animal I've ever had the pleasure of owning. I can sit for an hour "supervising" him and he'll just lay there and watch me...as soon as I get up to refill my coffee....poof he's gone.
He's very quiet while I'm searching for him, and then suddenly, I hear a rip of the baseboard, or a lamp falling over...crazy Bunny!
I'm starting to think he enjoys being yanked off the floor in a double arm hold...leaving his belly exposed, so I can blow rasberries on his belly.
