My Michaels going to the Vets Today

I had the feeling that sometjhing was wrong when he wouldnt eat Swiss Chalet Chicken, normally his favorite nad the only thing hes been touching is a dab of Cheese Whiz.:(
Mr Purrs sitting in his carrier and theres complete silence not a meeow of protest!!!

This is not a good sign and a Younger Michael would be complaining to his MP!!

Michaels throat is swollen and infected and he may need some teeth removed.
And his pulse is low and his eyes dont reflect the light so hes basically blind.
Hes gone to be given antibiotics due to his age and the demustry takes place Monday and all gong well he will be home late Tuesday.
It will not be inexpensive but afyer all hes My Michael!!

I am praying for My Dream Cat ,My Mr Purr and I know that Our Vet Assisstants love Michael and will pamper him a bit with pieces of meat from thier sandwhiches and as its PetMas week there will be take out and delivery and Michael will enjoy that a great deal.:love::love::love:
They told me that when they realized that Ebony Beau Tubster was so ill, that he got a nice last meal , a beef casserole with gravy and a bit of ice cream.:cool::cool::cool:
They had LES when he was put to sleep.:(
But he went out with a full tummy and I believe that Ebony Beau Tubster, Moose , Bo Bo, Precious and Charcoal are all vistors and attend social affairs at Stonegates quite often
That makes me feel very good!!:love::love::love:

I am thinking of you Michael the orange elder statesman of Pet Talk. I have been to the vets with our family cat Doris this last week who is 4 months away from turning 20 years old. She has similar problems too, but they are so strong these older wiser cats.

I was thinking last night that i was a bit irritated by Michael sitting in the very middle of the bed, and the fact that I had to manuever around him to get a seat.:)
My Bed was so empty last night, I realized how petty I had been and I cant wait until My Dream Cats back where he belongs.:love::love:
It reminds me of the times when Mr Scrappy used to lie on my chest and knead me with his paws and rub his head agianst my chin.
I eventually would push him off and he would jump off the bed.
With LES I wish now that I could have me back on my chest, showing me how much he loves me.:love::love:
What wouldnt I give for another time with Mr Scrappy.We dont know what weve lost til theyre gone.:love::love::love:

Two Wonderous things happened Today:love::love:
First Michael came home with a big vet bill, but My Vet shaved 300 dollars off and threw in a twelve pack of Hills A/D!!!:love::love:
And a parcel came from Our Friend Jen Luckenbach , full of Whiskas Temptation.
And JJJ3 ate his fill with no sore mouth and Michael had a few too that I broke in half!!!

Well Michael lsot 7 teeth, all he has left are his front incissors and two teeth on the bottom. He will need depo medol for at least 6 months as Older Ctas heal slowly :(
But hes home eating his A/D and Pro Plan has a BOGO Sale at PetsMart so I will be picking up 144 Tins.
Hopefully he will heal soon , My Vet says hes got a lot of life in him yet so maybe My Dream Cat will hit 20, with the Grace Of Our All Loving Lord God Above.
