View Full Version : Want to help me save this dog?

This guy is scheduled to be put down but I want to save him and give him a good home. He is in Louisiana and I'm in Phoenix. I'm trying to raise enough money for the flight here and the kennel that he would need to fly in. I'm grateful for any help. Thanks for looking. Donations

Awww, what a sweet face! have you asked the shelter if they know of any transport groups that take dogs from their shelter and send them out your way? I have no idea about your area, but I do know there are regular transport runs - all done by volunteer drivers who each take a leg of an hour or so - from the South up to Massachusetts, where I live. Maybe some do LA-to-West as well?

I just checked Petfinder and it says he has been adopted! Were you able to, or did someone else step in? Still happy news either way!

Here's some pics from when we got him home. Though he and the cats got along at first, he's chasing them all over the place now :( Other than that everything is great.

Of course! Yes, the airport was exciting. Turns out another couple was there doing the same thing. It was a happy day :)
