Shortstuff, you are beautiful!! I have had chicken friends at the Bird Sanctuary where I volunteer and know first hand how loving and cuddly you all can be! There is a gal there now named Goldie (for obvious reasons) and when I see her I say, "Give me some Chicken Loooove" and she squats down and opens her wings to get ready for me to pick her up and squeeze her!

Your family is very lucky to have you in their lives. . .all that and an egg a day too!

I love it when we have a chicken as our special pet of the day. We had pet chickens when I was a girl. Lots of people don't realize how special they can be. I see you are just a special as ours were. I really enjoyed meeting you today and seeing your wonderful picture. I hope you are being royally spoiled today.
