My friend Betty, who is also in rescue and has 3 foster kittens left of a litter of 5, asked me if I'd take in one of the two torties of the litter. They were born to a feral mama who has since been spayed and put back into the managed colony with her "man toy" Tiger, who is also neutered. 2 of the 5 babies have gotten a wonderful home together. The runt, soon to be named Mazie, is very shy and in need some good old fashioned loving. How could I say no??? She looks like my RB Mollie Rose when she was a baby. It'll be a couple of weeks before she gets here, as she will be spayed and vaccinated before hand. Once she does get here, I'll keep her in a crate in the living room so the kids can get used to her. I have a feeling she won't be in there very long.

I'll post pictures when she arrives. I know she'll be giving Bad A$$ Buddy a run for his money and hopefully poop him out!!!

Betty has decided to keep the little tortie. Things happen for a reason and I guess another cat is NOT in the cards for me right now. That's okay cuz I know that this tortie will have a wonderful home.

When the time is right, the right cat will come into your home and your heart. Have you thought of adopting a poor, homeless kitty from a shelter? A few months ago, my boyfriend adopted the sweetest little patch tabby that loves him to death! She was six-years-old and nobody had adopted her because she wasn't a kitten! She was micro-chipped and her owners never came and got her after the Humane Society attempted to call them several times and left messages. She is pure love. She loves to cuddle and purr and will bury her little face in your neck when you hold her. There are good cats to be found there that truly need a loving home, which I know you have. Anyway, it's just a thought. Hang in there and good luck!
