Oh, what a beautiful, precious hammie you were, Skittles. Beautiful not only in looks, but in spirit and heart. I'm heartbroken that you had to leave for the Bridge, but your guardian's loving words speak volumes as to the everlasting legacy of love, the indelible paw prints you left on her heart. How often we say here that our animal companions are the best teachers, teaching us not only how to be more responsible animal caretakers, but teaching us so much about life and relationships, human and furry; how to treat all living creatures with respect and love, including sisters!:) I know your human misses you terribly, but as she so wisely has said, you are in a better place now, healthy and whole once more, scampering happily at the Rainbow Bridge with all our beloved furangels. And one day, in the distant future, you and she will be reunited in love. And until then, you live on in the cherished memories you two made, never to be forgotten. Thanks to your wonderful family for sharing you and your inspirational story with us all. We're honored to memorialize you and all that you meant to your human by crowning you our extra special and most deserving, Sunday Pet of the Day, Pet of a Lifetime!:love::love:

Skittles you certainly are an adorable little fellow!!!

I say are because I truely think you are with lots of other loved animals at the Rainbow Bridge. Someday you and your loving guardian will see each other again. Until then, have fun at the Bridge. You may have had little paws but they left big prints all over your human's heart.

Congratulations, sweetie, on being our special Pet of the Day!!!

Dear, departed Skittles, you certainly left a pink little paw print on your guardian's heart, and will always live on in the bonding memories the two of you forged. So many of life's lessons are taught to us by our pets, and you were no exception. Happy POTD at Rainbow Bridge, darling Skittles!

You were such a joy to your family. The heartbreak of losing a special pet never leaves us. We hold you in fond memory. My Lucky Boy was my 2nd son...he was with us for 15 years and 3 months. Memories...we hold onto them. My Max helps us to go on with each, new day.http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w96/lagreca89/Memories.jpg
