I'm with aTailOf2Kitties, I'm not into horror either. I have never seen any of the movies in any of the series. i like for events in movies to be plausible and have logic. I get my adrenaline rush on a Mountain Bike.

I saw the first SAW movie and was pretty repulsed.

And I liked the Final Destination series, too.

They were pretty creative in the way they killed off the people in the movie!

------------

How the make bacon could be considered horror too?:confused:

I saw the first Final Destination movie and barely slept for a week. I can't even look at the cover art without feeling sick.
I'm a horror movie wimp. I HATE to be scared!!

weird thing is I like psychological thrillers like Silence of the Lambs and The Bone Collector. I would probably like the Saw and Final Destination series but I've seen parts of each of them and think they need to tone it down a little. I used to like the old Nightmare on Elm Street movies back in the 80's because they were so stupid and hokey, but nowadays moveis have gotten too realistic with the gore factor. I think I'll stick to feature length cartoons for awhile, LOL. Monsers vs Aliens, anyone?

Everyone's horror is different!;)

You have the supernatural horror, the people created horror and the natural horror. My 'kind' of horror is the "how can people do that to each other" type.

The over the top (Saw and FD series) movies make me laugh because they are so gory and I know that they are movies.

The Hannibal Lecter stuff is way creepier because you get so involved with the story you forget it is a movie and there are real people behind the stories.

The reak BTK dude is a good example of horror-this guy had ties to a church, was married and carried out killings for decades with out being caught.

THat's creepy!

I have an odd choice for best horror movie, and it's a musical ( sort of!) My vote is for the "Rocky horror picture show" I love the time warp!

Hostel and Hostel 2 would be up there with the Saw series, but I dont consider them horror. Im actually looking forward to the next instalment of Saw.
